He's the only striker to be given a run out on a continual basis our other strikers would be just as popular given half the chance he's had.

Interesting reading, our strikers stats make.
Rodgers started around 25 games scored 11 goals Cramb started around 26 games scored 14 goals Darby started around 22 games scored 8 goals.
Very interesting. What are those goals scored worth in points to the team. That may show us which is the best starting partnership.

And to add DD has decided in the last 5/6 games to actually pull his finger out and work on top of the chances he's had already, give our other strikers the same consistancy of appearances as DD has had theres far more to offer.......is DD Quinnys love child

We shall see - DD is clearly the fav of the fans now (well after luke poss) and he is going to be here next year (unlike cramb) so get behind him TS - your negative attitude is stranger given the resent return to form from DD but you steadfasly (like many!!) defended Cramb during his poor run as i remember Well chuffed the DDAS sphere of infulence has grown in to the Star - seems like the motto idea worked a treat!!! Well done pete Now with the DDAS flag makeing an apperance in the next few weeks, my apperance in the programm as Co-Leader of DDAS and playing against Darby in beat the pro - we are starting to make things happen!!!! TS - i belive you will have to eat these words at the end of the season and remember at the Barnet game i stood by you and you were very positve about DD - me thinks this negative attitued is more a responce to a certain ban - not DD and i think if you work out the goals vs the points that it won DD comes out very well - Crambs were mostly after games are seasled (northwich) and ukes has scored in games we lost or drew!!! - i will work it out and get back to you later!!! DDAS No Duane - No Gain - Wel done the Shropshire Star get on the bandwagon - Jamo2 joined today - anyone else want in of DDAS? ?

DD the fans favourite , he might be with the life line JQ's give him appearence after appearence after appearence , shall i quote from previous thread
"I stand by my DD post, any other striker would turn in the same amount of goals and probably more, given the same amount of kiss @rse time JQ gave to DD. Nice strike of the post at Tamworth DD, Alty away open goal put it wide for us DD make us sweat it out a little longer in the dying seconds, great miss away at Hereford to grab a draw "

Agree Telfordshrew. Any of the strikers given the same run would outscore Darby. Contributes nothing but pops up with a goal and hes a hero. Only came alive on Saturday after he scored and that lasted for all of 5 minutes. Wonder what you actually see when you watch him gpricey or is all his huff and puff good enough for you Never wins a ball in the air and his link play is virtually none existant. Give me Cramb and Rogers anyday
