We are appealing to any football fans to turn up at our game with Accrington on Thursday. Any of you that can make it wearing your colours will be made most welcome.
Thank you all for your great support so far - I sincerely hope that the Telford fans give you a reception you deserve on Tuesday - there is no place for the vitriolic crap from three weeks ago.
All the best
Lee Carter Secretary TUISA

Whilst I wish you luck and am sure STFC fans will support your cause,
Is it not time you started trying to put all your efforst into attracting people from telford United. handing out cheap tickets in the town centre? Going to schools etc.
Relying on other supporters will only prolong the agony and help mask the support situation at TUFC.

I have to agree with these two last posts.
These folk from other clubs arent gonna be there week in week out, its now time to offer deals etc to the people of Telford to encourage them to support TUFC.

This may sound a bit arsey, but up to and including the match on Tuesday night i will have spent £60 in admissions to see Telford + £2 for a pretty crap programme from the FA Trophy match + the odd drink and some food lets say another £10 over the 4 matches (i'm not including beer) I bet that if there was a door to door poll throughout Telford asking how much money was lavished on TUFC, a huge % would be either nothing spent or less than the amount i have spent. I'm hoping that next season i won't have to spend any money watching TUFC. I'm sure TUFC will still be in the Conference next season but they will be there without any money and P/T players only, whether they stay in the Conference after the next season is highly doubtful

I'll be very surprised if many Town fans go to your game with Accy on Thursday after going to the NBH on Tuesday.
I still can't believe TUFC fans aren't more hateful towards Andy Shaw - 20k+ a week on wages? He was clearly a nutter.

I saw someone on Buckschat saying "Thank you Andy for giving us a dream" and I really did want to be sick He let his own ego ruin their entire club Yes he saved them in the past, but he has betrayed every fan and left the club in a woeful state

That is the point I tried to make, when they were slating Mick Moans for wasting the budget that was given to him by Shaw. Comments like reguardless of whats happened why arent we challenging for the championships/play-offs? I get the impression some of them just dont have a clue, they're still living the dream!?

No manager is going to turn down money, but I do think that we have not invested that wisely in the squad. There have been some excellent buys (Hulbert, MacKenzie, Whitehead, Naylor, Stanley, Ricketts) but others have been poor (Moore, Simpson, Williams, Rowe, Daniels, Blackwood).
If the club reverts to Part-time next season, and there's no reason to think anything other than this, MJ will not be the man to get the best out of the team or to find that talent in the lower leagues that we will need.
I can't see us retaining more than 6 of this year's squad regardless.
The money squandered is, however, irrelevant, as the losses by TUFC this year are nothing in comparison to the parent company. No cup TV money, Cardiff appearance or lottery jackpot would reverse this!

I'm making a long trek to NBH on Tuesday and aprt from paying my entrance fee I'll also be chucking in a couple of quids to the buckets.
That's about it from me though, I feel deeply for the supporters but I can't believe so many of them couldn't see what has happened coming from a mile off.

I always believed in Andy Shaw for the day and ewach day as it came. I agree that those people who thought it would last forever were extemely niaive!
