too right!, especially as dave's replacement scored with his first touch, the lad has potential up front

Gal scored a cracker - but i had just flicked it over my marker turned and was about to strike and the lad ran in and did the job for me I would have scored it any way

Talking of the crowd, it was a good turn out wasn't it. Leigh RMI would love support like that!! Only trouble was a load seemed to disappear a couple of minutes before 11am. Now I wonder why that would be?

If only they had known of the 3 crates of Skol Jamo had brought Still with Jeevsey and Billbo been two of the aforementioned disappearing 11am squad. If they had hung around we would have had none left by the time we got out of the showers Hows that gpricey, first faginy bait at its not even 9am ;D

Who was that ref? Great that he could give up his time for us but seemed to be very easy to influence- should have sent Lenny off for that pitch invasion and should get a new watch- the longest second half in history

Paul in the last B and A game we played a 60min second half - sat was easy compared to that But fair play to Ray hes always there and really helps out the away supporters

Did ASFC pay us respect by playing pretty much their full side? Do any of the vets turn out for ASFC?

So we really robbed you of some key men and still you stuffed us. Well I think there were quite a few vets who showed an interest on the original thread and could not make it on Saturday so there is perhaps hope for the rematch. Up the vets!

I think Ray does a sound job but everyone (myself included) have to think twice about giving him crap as he is doing us a favour. Don't get me wrong, I've flown off the handle numerous times this season at him when he hasn't given the correct decsion but I'm really trying hard to stop my 'temper' (as Gallon calls it ) to get the better of me. I thought Matt Kendrick had a superb game for the Vets as did Paulwilliams- very skillful that owd lad! Pricey, I reckon Ants after your forward position now , he didn't look out of place leading the line and you have the give credit where it is due. Carl was strong (again) and Pilch delt with anything thrown at him very well.

"Pricey, I reckon Ants after your forward position now , he didn't look out of place leading the line and you have the give credit where it is due" dont say such things - in fairness i had alread tired out the Vets first half - so it was easy for Ant second half - any way i could of had a hatrick my self but for the post, bar and Gall nicking that last one off me!!!!! Also im more effective when i get the ball crossed to me like the quality ant got from you - it never happened first half - I will score again Actually - well done ant 3 goals to be proud off, i remember Matt Wyn saying after you got the third that thats the last i have seen of up front for a while - i hope hes not right i do try bloody hard!!!

I think ant's played two halfs of footy up front this season for the ASFc - one on Saturday and the other away to Accrington earlier in the season. the result - two hat-tricks for ant, I say keep him on the wing
