4-3-1-2 always always works for me
get in a lad called Oskarsson too and he will get u up the leagues... and also Luke Varney from Crewe on loan seems to bag loads and u dont even have to pay any of his wages
get rid of Cramb though cos he is useless
I usually play fitzy in the hole behind the strikers and it gets me a fair few goals

Daniel Sjolund up front on loan from Liverpool will score loads in a
4-3-1-2
formation.
Should guarantee you a top 7 finish.

4-4-2, have one central midfielder holding the ball up and one on a attacking run. Or even 4-1-3-2 for the central midifleder to sit in front of the defence.
If the game ain't going well use the tatcic 'passing down both flanks' this ususally helps getting you back into game.Get yourself some quick wingers with high dribbleing even if the rest of the stats are s**te (like Sammy) Ben thornley is good for this.
I tend to use short passing from div 2 onwards, but if your in the conference use the direct ball and the counter attack option. Get yourself a lumbering centre forward (Darby is perfect for this) with good acceleration and jumping.
Oh and get Andy Holt in from Hull (even if your in the conference) he has a long throw of 20, your lumbering centre forward will have a field day on this.
Players to look out for in the lower leagues are any ex-man utd and Liverpool kids (David Fox, Lee Sims, Adrian Nevins) they will become availble after one season. Darius Henderson (Reading) and defo Andy Holt!
