the one major thing which has been annoying me this season is the distinct lack of willingness to get stuck in (although banim and rioch seem to have had no trouble getting stuck into the buffet).fair enough all of the players will tackle but i mean get in where it hurts. 50/50 challenges are almost always backed out of (unless aiston or rodgers go for it). last night i can recall on several occasions battling midfielders skipping challenges or moving out the way so they dont get caught.
In this league it isnt about "sexy" football but about battling and getting the three points. maybe teams like chester, aldershot, hereford etc are doing a bit better than us as they have been here for more time than us and have grown use to scr@pping out results. at times we have been battling and getting 1-1 draws where others have been snatching 1-0 wins.
we need to start fighting to get out of this league now because if we dont get out of the league this year then it will become more and more difficult each year as confidence drops and with it supporters enthusiasm to
come on quinny sort it out and do us all a favour and play 4-4-2!
