.........when we were beaten 5 nil. JQ made the players not return to the changing rooms but made them stay in the centre circle of the pitch and listen to the away following disatisfaction of the crap served up before us that afternoon while he gave them a rollicking. The players on that day had to take responsibility and the brunt of flack from the away fans.
However is JQ prepared to stand out in the middle of the pitch at the next full time, to listen to our flack he rightly deserves to recieve from the fans who have given 100% this season. His tactics, formation, selection , motivation , are shocking.

If Quinn was to stand on the Centre circle at this moment in time, he would be stoned to death. Jimmy Quinn is as popular as King Herard at a maternity Hospital.

If Jimmy Quinn was that bad you would be in Halifax or Scarborough's position. A bit of perspective would not go amiss. Why? He's had much more in terms of resources than these teams. He also inherited Jamie Tolley, Luke Rodgers, Darren Moss and Sam Aiston. To compare the clubs is ridiculous. Also - Remember Scarborough finished 4th in their first season in the Conference and they did it, I dare say, with much less than Quinn has at his disposal.

To compare the clubs is ridiculous. Maybe but both clubs were competing for a play-off place this time last season under the same managers. To be where they are now seems to be much more of an underachievement that you lot 'only' finishing in a play-off place. But then I don't know much of the ins ands outs of both clubs and it would be interesting to hear the views of both sets of supporters on Chris Wilder and Russell Slade respectively and whether they have turned against them the same way Shrews have to a large extent done against Jimmy Quinn.

I doubt Quinn would even talk to fans, let alone stand out there and take the punishment he gave to his players that day.
In fact last night he was the first person down the tunnel at the end of the match.

But, Simon you once again appear to be missing the point.
Scarborough and Halifax are up shít creek financially - and that's even with the former's FA cup money for this season.
It also has to be questionned about their long term acceptance - are their fans, in the long term, content at being a Conference club?
