There is obviously a strength of feeling on this board about our current performances but what's the best way of getting those feelings across to the people who run the club- I feel the recent booing of players has lost it's effect now and it only helps the opposition. Other options may be a signed partition or a peaceful protest after a home game. We can rant on here all we like and although we may feel better afterwards it wont achieve anything. However STFC is a small club and in the right way, a small group of fans could have an effect on future decisions.

Would a deluge of supporters' letters to the Shropshire star help?

Direct to the STFC football club would be the correct procedure i would have thought.

Right then if anyone wants a crack an penning a letter on behalf of of the fans (not blue and amber as it would get them in a bit of bother me thinks) then PM a copy of the letter - i will have a look through them - and then put up the one that best describes the feelings/ desires/problems and all the other stuff thats been discussed on here in the last week
Its our chance to have a right of reply and lets take it - we might even get a responce -
Think of it as a creative righing exersise - the winner gets to be the voice of the fans
Get am i ASAP

Write individually to the chairman and manager and see if you get a response.

All this talk of giving Quinn the sack is a bit premature dont you think? He's came to Shrewsbury and brought some players with him (on a very small budget) where the majority of which have improved your team from last season -with the obvious exception of Rioch ;D If Quinn is failing you and Radcliffe failed you, sureley it's the board's fault- Get them out not Quinn Just because you've came down from Div 3 doesnt mean that you'll go straight back up, just ask Scarborough, Halifax etc. IMO, you need to rebuild the team mainly based around young players and go from there. Chester, Hereford and Yeovil have all done this Look forward to seeing you at NBH next year

OK, maybe not a small budget, but still isnt it early to judge a manager over his first season? On BucksChat, a few fans want Jones sacked at the end of the season, but IMO both Quinn and Jones should be given till November and then they should get judged by the fans and the board.
Quinn and Jones have only been given since the summer to rebuild completely- Jones had 2 players and Shrewsbury had just been relegated, if after the summer things dont improve then I'll appreciate that a new manager would be needed

I can't see what the point of sacking Quinn would achieve right now.The team will either get into the play offs or it won't (in my opinion it will be the latter).
However I feel the Board should be giving Quinn an ultimatum - it's either the play offs or the dole que. To miss out of the play offs (still no guarantee of getting back where we belong) will be under achiving big time

If like we feel at present they wont get into the play offs, what harm will it do having someone else in charge? None as far as I can see.
Last season the club didnt act etc etc

I'd swap Quinn for Jones. I mean it - I think he's done well with the frankly s**te players he has at Telford and he's more astute than Jimmy.
