It's just a thought. I'm just putting out a tentative suggestion- and I wondered what other people thought.
It seems to be an echo of what's happened before- with Quinn trying all sorts of desparate measures as the season nears it's end.
I'm not in any way making excuses -but is it possible that we have a "rebellious" element in the squad- people who are all out for being individuals rather than wanting what's needed- a team that PLAYS as a team.
Perhaps it's not easy to get them to train together, even- or tp travel together.
I'd even wondered- conspiracy theory- are some influential people somehow inflencing the outcome? There is, as we know a vested interest, in some quarters, in actually encouraging STFC to slowly sink into oblivion.
These are only random thoughts- but I've got an uncomfortable feeling that "something isn't quite right" And I don't know if anyone else senses something's amiss- and there's undercurrents that we don't know about?

It's a very good and valid point Wigan...is there harmony in the camp? I guess the only ones in the know are those within the club and I doubt we'll hear owt from them...
So gpricey our kid, you say rumours...what rumours?

team spirit is everything in this game, and can overcome much better opponents. We don't seem to have had it for ages, and to foster it is one of the main jobs of the manager it seems to me.

venture into the newsagents next to the bookies in Abbey Foregate when the Town players go in between 12 and 12.30 to get their butties.
You'll hear all you need to hear. Mr Drysdales comments today were of particular interest.

Sorry Stutty - i cant say for i would anger a close mate and i dont want another telling off like the one i got for revelaing Gregor was off about 3 months before it happend!!!!
All i can say is that Wiggys right with a lot of the above and many players and managers are clashing on a regulare occurance (on top of a whole raft of other things that go which WILL come out in the wash eventually)
One thing i did here (off a first team player) so i cant get in to trouble for this is that they have not had one sinle training sesion on set peices all season - they take 5-10 mins at the end each day (mostly) for it but most not involved bugger off leaving Sedge, Luke, Oconner, Banim and a few other to just spank em in the goal - even Quinn p**ses about!!!

The danger is that it will all come out too late to save STFC from free-falling into near-oblivion.
What can we do? If we don't take some kind of action, it's all going to go worse than pear-shaped.
Is there anyway we can let our feelings be known, without being specific.
We know something's wrong- or a lot of things are wrong. We don't even need to name them- or get anyone into trouble. It's obvious from the state of play, lately.
Why should we put up with it? The one thing we all have in common is that we love STFC. If they don't- and they're prepared to do a demolition job on it- or let it rot because of personal differences- then surely we can't sit back and let it happen?

and the lack of practice on set pieces certainly tells! How many corners or free kicks have we scored from?
And why is this still a problem? Wasn't it exactly the same problem under Ratcliffe with various players not training? Most of the players have even changed although some are the same
