It doesnt look good does it- the Telford result hurt but last night hurt more because there was just absolutely nothing to get excited about- I feared for the worst when I saw the team sheet- can anyone confirm that Tolley and Lowe were injured? I can except players making mistakes but the same ones week in week out . Rodgers getting caught offside, Street giving the ball away, OConnor giving lip to the ref, Ridler clattering into forwards from the back, wasted corners. The Board need to act in someway and I dont really care how whether its new players, coaching staff and or new manager

Paul,
You seem to have changed your opinion from last week. Have you now seen the dire reality of our situation?
I'm sure the players are good enough if they are coached in the right way and play to a set system so as they all know where they are coming from and what is expected of them.
At the mo they don't know what to expect or what is expected of them from one game to the next.

I am not going to deny that I defended Quinn as much as possible after the Telford game- not because he is Jimmy Quinn, but just because he is the manager of our club and that person requires our support. But I also realise that the buck stops with him, when it comes to team performances and currently they are just not good enough. Somewhere down the line, a club like ours has to get out of the cycle of continually sacking managers because it will just make the situation worse- pay offs, new players needing time to gel etc.

I agree- nothing would be gained from constant change.
(Sorry-that's a contradiction in terms- there's nothing constant about change. What we need is something more constant. On the other hand- NOT constantly mediocre!)
Agree that the buck stops with the manager BUT it seems strange that things that Ratcliffe said, whatever his faults (and it's hard forgive him for "taking us down) ... that rang true. Things about the determination of some people to keep Shrewsbury as a backwater- and he said the difficulties the Chairman faced because of this.
Then is there some relationship problems in the squad? It was said that last season's squad were not happy with Ratcliffe? Is there some trouble this season, too?
I wouldn't like to put the blame on just one person without more knowledge. I get an uncomfortable feeling that there's something fundementally very wrong AGAIN- and that we're kept in the dark, as usual.

No conspiracy theory I dont think Wiggy but you may be right about some personality struggles behind the scenes

The reason that Ryan Lowe wasn't playing last night was simply because he'll be moving to The Deva before tomorrows dead-line.
