Look that's 'two goals at Old Trafford" Juninho with his mate Shakey.

The next three games are crunch time and are against teams above us in the table. Our record against the top five does not make happy reading: P 6 W 1 D 1 L 4 F 9 A 10 PTS 4 from a possible 18 8 games left and as many have predicted, all now very tough. The spirit, moral, organisation and fight seems to have just drained away. Many called it a poxy cup anyway but what effect has last weeks defeat really done What is the true extent of tonights defeat Only time will tell.... but what the PLAYERS need is constant support. You have all been there for them right up until now and everybody's support will be even more vital now. Come on lads you can do it

Interesting point about the Cup. It got a lot worse last year after the loss to Carlisle in the LDV.
But surely there is too much to play for now to just let it slip away ?

It is a terrible record againt the top sides, but why in particular do you think that is?
Mostly poor tactics IMO, we can blame the players all we want but at the end of the day if they're not being motivated or even played in the right positions - what chance have they got?

it does highlight that we have only been kept near the top by beating poor teams
the standard of this league is so poor it has hidden our weaknesses
we can't beat a decent team

Interesting statistic- it certainly wasnt the quality of opposition that was the problem- but maybe us giving them too much respect and mucking around with our formation instead of sticking with what we know best.

Doesn't paint a rosey picture even if we reach a play-off spot.

Thats what i thought so even if we sneek into the playoffs we have to overcome a critical lack of current form and a total lack of season form against playoff teams - looks less and less unlikely we will be a leage team every week with stats like these

If we made it to the playoffs I think we could manage 1 win. On our day we can beat anyone easily but our day comes very very infrequently. To win the play offs we will need to do consitently well in three games, two of which will be away from the Meadow. I can't see that happening.

Maybe Quinn's motivational skills aren't particularly brilliant either?
