This season has been a nightmare - It's got to the stage where I dont look forward to going.
We have played well for 2 games this season, 90 mins vs hford, 45 vs woking and 45 vs Scarborough.
Havent included Morcambe away because in the grand scheme of things it doesnt matter.
we are 6th and should comfortably get in the play offs and there is the possibility of us getting out of this league. What does that tell you about this league?
Our league position is just masking all the deficiencies that the club has and unfortunately they dont seem intent on doing anything about it.
I was actually looking forward to it in August but constantly let down away and stuttering along at home has left me wondering whether to renew my season ticket next year.
Aldershot tonight played like we should be, I realise we have a very patched up midfield but it just aint any fun anymore.
Maybe it will be ok in the morning but I doubt it - Quinny has no options left for Saturday so I'm going hoping for a point!
not a good time to be a Town supporter imo!

Yes, the season has been an anti-climax. What it tells me is that the Conference is not to be sniffed at!!! Dn't forget, Chester and Hereford have been there for several seasons and have only just started to really get to grips with it - and good luck to them.
It will not be until our players realise that they are not God Gifts to the Conference and that actually they have to do something, that we will be able to start holding our heads up again.
However, I know that I for one will be renewing my season ticket next time. I have met a lot of new friends through STFC and have even managed to join this site something I never though would happen. As someone else says on here 'keep the faith'.

I think you have adjusted to the conference quite well. Its your 1st year down and a hard league to escape from.I remember not so long ago we were bottom of the conference and got beat 3.0 at home to Margate.Horrible memories. If you don't go up this year its not the end of the world. You will follow in our footsteps, maybe next year. Good luck.
