Very livley front men, again the best team won, they had more heart and desire to get something from the game, Players at the "Town" should be looking hard at there own performances and there attitude and wondering why there not competing against our opposition

I'm afraid that i disagree with you on that one. I personally don't think that Aldershot looked that good. Yes they deserved to win, but we were very very poor. I think that they will make the playoff's, but wont win it. They were quite a dirty team and had we of had 4 in midfield then we would of causedthem more trouble.

Aldershot looked to win every loose ball, pass the their own team mates and work hard to make space. In short they played as a TEAM, something Town find very difficult to do.
we have got the most talented players in the division but have failed to play as a team for the whole season and now it is time to stand up and be counted they all want to hide.
Shameful

I agree. I thought that Aldershot looked like a TEAM. They never gave up - nearly always had that number 11 in the box, near the box, to pick up any rebounds and really looked like they wanted to WIN. Can some tell me why we never seem to have players who want to give their all. The fact that a young lad from that team in Manchester, playing his first game was in my opinion MOM jus sums the night up.
Having said that - I didn't like their style of play, they were dirty, and they did time waste beyond all time wasting.
I don't know what's happened to the smiley with the tears, but that's the one I need just now.

This was a massive result for us after saturday. We are not a dirty side by any means ,but we competed for everything. Yes we wasted time towards the end but we were down to ten men against a full time outfit. The 6 mins added on probably reflected this anyway.

I think that they will make the playoff's, but wont win it. They were quite a dirty team and had we of had 4 in midfield then we would of causedthem more trouble. Martin O'Connor punched Adam Miller twice and got a yellow card. Simon Downer had the ball shoved in his face and there was no booking. Rodgers dived around like Prendergast and not a word was said to him. Aldershot were not a dirty team. They snuffed out your options and should have scored more. Nice ground. Awful fans to boo your team most of the 2nd half. Lucky to have a homer ref who creamed himself every time he had a chance to book anything in red. Aldershot deserved the win.

To be fair, I dont think they were a dirty team. I think they won it fair and square and on merit. They showed far more passion and desire, they won at least 90% of loose balls. We on the other hand were shocking. How many corners or free kicks went staright to the keeper. How many saves did he have to make. Indeed, will he have to wash his kit before the next game? Fair play to aldershot, I couldnt call them a skillful team, but they go home with all 3 points whilst playing away at one of the supposed favourites in the division.

Their defence was very well organised and i noticed how there number 26 did a great job on luke. This was frustrating for our forwards, but after they nicked the fist goal they put up a battling performance. Our lack of creativity up front made matters worse.
They were more organised and wanted it more. Lets hope we can bounce back on saturday.. all is not lost!

I think they were the most organised team we have seen this season - and I do feel good luck to them.
