...and get him on now. I'd replace Darby with Cramb...
...cue Darby goal...

Well I know we are not out of the playoffs etc but for f**ks sake !!! I have resisted critism all season about players he has brought in and his lack of tactics but I cant keep quiet anymore. JQ is no better than the idiot we had last year. Roland take a flyer and pick the phone up to Ian Aitkins maybe its not to late

Our team should default to Rodgers and Cramb up front. Simple as. Been saying it for months. 4-4-2 in defence and 4-3-3 in attack.

Who would you use as the transitional player Sean.
Rodgers has the engine.
Or just 1 of 3?

I hope this evening sounds the death knell for 4-3-3...if he doesnt have the players needed to play 4-4-2 then he's going to have to get busy to bring someone in to allow us to play it, simple as...
Can't understand why he goes with this formation...simply can't understand it...

Ross Stephens and Glenn Tolley caused Morecambe problems going forward.
But Quinn is clearly losing it big time at the moment....

Who would you use as the transitional player Sean. Rodgers has the engine. Or just 1 of 3? Lowe currently. He knows that role. Toughens the midfield by covering the fullback. Aiston is the same. Simple game football.

Very interesting Sean.
So:
Howie Lawrence Moss Tinson Ridler
O'Connor Tolley Aiston
Lowe
Cramb Rodgers
?
I'd have that.

It all depends who's fit mentally and physically.
On the mental side there's the need for a different voice in the dressing room.
Rodgers needs a word and I have said the same about Cramb - but they are the players who can make things happen.
Aiston will not be fit and so there has to be another pacy left-sided player - currently the club can only offer Ross Stephens. I don't think that is good enough but its what we have got.
Is Tolley physically fit? If he isn't 100% he shouldn't play as his physical presence, tackling and forceful running is such an important part of the game. If he isn't then it is Dave Edwards - as a central midfielder.
Howie Moss Ridler Tinson Lawrence Lowe Edwards O'Connor Stephens Rodgers Cramb
Alternatively: TolleyG Lowe O'Connor, Stephens. I'm just worried about the sort of cover that the full-backs will have from Glenn and Ross.
There is a serious background problem with Ridler and O'Connor's fitness - I cannot see how they can be nursed through the next few games. So Street (who is only a central midfielder) and Sedgemore will play their part.

reason o conner came off was he was limping for the whole of the 2nd half. And cramb when on did absolutely nothing

Neither of which were worth anything. I like my strikers to do more than get consolation goals.

Well like my teams to let in less than they score but like you it does not happen ;D
I think it would be harsh to drop him - i think we can accomodate all three of Luke cramb and Darby just stick Luke out wide and play a 442 again - he might then start to pass again - and darby and Cramb can form a solid patnership

trouble with darby is that we're not playing to his strengths. he's a big physical striker who would thrieve on getting headers in from good crosses - so we don't play any wingers/get rid of them all!

gpricey what are you on about? ? Play luke on the wing? And if you do accomodate 3 strikers we will just end up 433 again. Look at us accomadate 5 last night brilliant!!!!
