The only team apart from Telford to be ever present in the Conference since its formation have been relegated, barring any expulsions in the feeder leagues etc.

a couple of wins will see them almost on level points with leigh - they could stay up yet. Can't be done, they need to get up to 19th (Halifax), 19 points adrift, and only 18 to play for. Sure they'll have a speedy return once they get back to their own ground.

Dont see why they deserve charity - they were not good enough - im sure they will be replaced by some otehr small littel nice family club and who will know the difference in 5 years time Are canvey up yet - i can see a improvement in the leage next year with these two swaping, And telfords a nice "little" club but i would shed no tears if they went down

I thought Sedge was a great signing , he plays consistantly well and can do a job anywhere across the back four.

TS i personally think that if (not when anymore ) we go up Sege will not play a great part in a div 3 team - hes a conf player nout better than that

Strange attitude. Personally there are teams i like, teams i don't like and some i simply do not have feelings on. To dislike everyone is just strange. I enjoyed Northwich and certainly wish them no harm.

Thanks for the (mainly) sympathetic comments. I enjoyed my afternoon at the Gay Meadow on Boxing Day. I hope you go back up in the playoffs as I was sad to see you get relegated from div 3 last year.

Therein lies the difference. The Vics fan was sad to see us relegated, whereas our "friends" from along the A5 rejoiced. I, am therefore, sad to see such a friendly club as Northwich hit hard times, but when Telford suffer a downturn, which happens to almost every club, at some stage, I will allow myself to wear a large smile of satisfaction.

Fitz couldnt join Northwich as only two players from one club can go on loan to another club in one season, in this case Murray and Rioch?
I'm glad to be honest, I couldnt believe JQ was prepared to let go our only natural left footed player whilst Sam is still out, if Kevin Street is better than Fitzpatrick on the left then I've yet to see it.
