Disappointing especially for the few travelling fans that there would have been!

True, but look at it another way, the game may have been a farce with the wind.

Stuart Dunn has just said that apparently the CCTV is down and there are live cables all over the pitch!

Going out of the FA Trophy is definitely a blessing in disguise now, no question.
I nearly got swept away myself as I walked to catch my bus to Shrewsbury, which for some reason didnt show up anyway.
The games at Burnley, York and Halifax have also been called off presumably for the same reason, also what damage has been caused exactly and will everything be repaired in time for Tuesdays game?

the wind has bein really strong, the strongest ive seen it for a long time, so wouldn't have been able to play a decent game of football in it anyway, plus the safety stuff. Shame though, was looking forward to todays match and also spent 45mins waiting at stretton station for my train to shrews, only to have to catch one back again half an hour later!!!
