With Chester winning we can stop thinking of the Championship now and concentrate on getting top 5.

Honestly, Salop fans, One poor result and you get on your player's backs, acting like it's the end of the world! Stop and think about what we've had to put up with this season, after hopes were so high at the start: Northwich, Farnborough, Margate, Burton........etc etc ...and still we don't moan half as much as u lot!!! I hope u have something to really moan about after tuesday night. Regards, TUFC

"One poor result"
I wish, its a lot more than one and it happens time and time again away from home no matter who we are playing. Telford will be favourites on Tuesday night.

How about you dropping 3 divisions in 15 years - wouldn't you be a tad frustrated?

Fair enough, I can't argue with that, Ant. Don't think that Telford are favourites tuesday night, though. Here's to a good game, anyway.

Why would we be part time when most of the others aren't

list the other times i've talked bollox.
Next season if we are still in the conference we will have to cut the wage bill considerably because we've used the inflated turnover from the last season (ever?) in the Football League to bump up the playing staff. - Source - your friend Keith Sayfritz.
The season after that.... well John you tell me what the gates will be like....

At least you have acknowledged your previous post was bollox. My friend Keith as you call him told you that did he, well we might have to cut the wage bill and this could get rid of the players who think they can just turn up to win.
But I see a more positive ending, I think no Believe we'll go up via the play offs and play once again in the FL. Difference is Sean I like to be a bit more positive than you, my cup is always half full were yours is half empty.
The gates I think will drop and I hope its the moaning barstewards that feck off and leave is positive fans there to cheer them on. But the moaners will be back when the NM is up as "this wont be good enough and that isnt right"

My god i am in agreement of JP !! Shock horror, should you lot miss out on the playoffs, you willl remain fulltime, your support will not falter thatt much if at all next season, but longer term maybe IE 5, 10 years then it will fall away, you have had some poor results yet you are STILL 3RD !!!, FFS, i would blow your house for that, i really think the championship is gone but wish you good luck in the playoffs, where you are heading.

Do you have any idea how much the directors have put into the club this year?
If a club says "It will have to trim" why did it give permission for a host of players to be put on two year contracts?

"trim" is your word.
The directors of the club have put the money into the club this season because there is no sense in not doing so. There is no point in not strengthening the squad to the maximum allowable by the wage cap based upon the inflated turnover from season 2002-2003.
Contracts will be coming to an end at the end of this season as well as and the end of next season. Its even possible to move people off the wage bill beforethe end of their contract.

Trim is maybe my word, I'll use cut which was yours.
Nevermind the wages, but players do need to move and more brought in as things arent right and the manager is not playing the game of a good tactician, but this league is not upto much and hopefully the players we have will see us back into the FL.
