Anybody seen the NLP letters page ? A letter featured from a Bulls fan slagging the town off. Stating that Chester and Hereford should be promoted as they are the best teams in the league and that we shouldn't get promoted via the playoffs as we will not finish second. He also goes onto to ask where have all our fans whom are jumping on the bandwagon this season come from ? This might be the first time I can remember where a clubs supporters are being questioned for sticking with their team after relegation. Regarding the playoffs the rules are the rules will he still think Hereford deserve promotion when they finish below the town. Reading between the lines maybe his point is that we are a well supported club who would probably beat his team if we meet them in the playoffs. Rant Over PS I still think we will catch Chester.

Doncaster Rovers never came second last season, did they?
I think some bums are starting to twitch above us now...
I think everyone should write to the NLP. you're bound to get your letter printed, if theyre willing to print that tosh.

Every year they'll be someone who moans about the playoff system.
The strange thing here of course is that HUFC are in no terms guaranteed to finish second.

I read this letter late last night and was going to post something similar today. Also have not (?are note) Doncaster been top of Div.3 this season. How anyone can begrudge them this after all they went through a few years ago defeats me.
I shall support the Shrews wherever they may be and so I suggest will a lot of others on this site. I think we must just feel very sorry for this very bitter person.

The really stupid thing about it is the Hereford support did exactly the same when they got relegated
in fact, if you remember at the beginning of this season they were having big gates
It is all to play for, Chester / Exeter / Barnet / Hereford, some huge games for us, if we lose them we won't deserve to go up and if we win them then we will probably go up!
