Shame.
Although I'd be interested in how many Celtic fans have sung similar pro-IRA songs......

Why would Barcelona sing pro ETA songs?
ETA are Basques
Barcelona is Catalan
or is it just cos they blew up Madrid, in which case that is disgusting
IRA Bomb in Manchester saw loads of messages for support from Liverpool and after Hillsborough there were Man United scarfs ties to the railings of the Kop.
Keep football for football!
and Yes, Celtic are probably the most terrorist linked club in the world, street vendors sell IRA flags outside Parkhead every game

Steady on lads ! The Celtic fans deserve credit for last night, not bickering like this Nice to see their gesture was applauded in the spanish press today, who have gone for broke in their condemnation of Barca fans

I think that if you go back as far last Celtics last game against rangers at the weekend there were plenty of IRA songs at the game - sucm, one jesture like this is not enough for me as an english person to forgive the attitude of that clubs fans to wards the death of many of my country men! But they did do the RIGHT thing last night

I'm in gpriceys gang on this one The Celtic fans are a biggoted lot, and generally I am appalled by there behaviour, although one Celtic fan I met in a Glasgow pub some years back sang me all the songs but didn't have a clue what they ment but sings them anyway because they all do at Parkhead. He was an ok guy, and not in the least a biggot and I wonder just what percentage of Celtic fans are like this ? Last night those Barca fans were simply scum. Impromptu ridicule of nearly 200 killed and 1,400 injured! How can anyone sing/joke about that. I applaud those Celtic fans for doing the right thing last night. Their silent majority as allured to above won the day on a day when only inhumane beings could fail to be sad.

It works the same way with the town fans who sing the no-surrender song, I'm pretty sure the majority don't have a lue what they're singing about

its bad when that happens but it is a song in defiance of terroism not in favour (like the celtic and barca chants). I dont like that song but it is no where near as bad as pro IRA ETA songs Plue that song is slowley being phased out - where as celtic sing there songs every singal week
