First Shrewsbury game sometime in mid 1980s, but became a regular in 1990/91 after seeing a 2-0 League Cup win over Gillingham.
My team:
GK Paul Edwards - not necessarily the best I've seen, but my favourite from my time. Work means I did not see Hart play that many times for Town.
RB Dave Hockaday - reliable right-back in the only title-winning Town team I have seen.
LB Tommy Lynch - the best Town left-back of my time by far. Tackled like a tiger and had the heart of a lion. An all-round good guy, the phrase 'fans' favourite might have been designed for him.
CB Dave Walton - was a real hero of mine during his first spell with the club. Signed as an unknown 20-year-old, he proved to be a truly class act.
CB Mark 'Bomber' Williams - His partnership with Walton was terrific and that gives him the nod for me over Mark Blake and Dave Hughes, who I also thought were excellent centre-backs.
RW Mickey Brown - in the title-winning season he was unstoppable and made the game look so easy. Also scored a goal against Crewe a season earlier than that which, if caught on camera, would still be rated as one of the best ever.
LW Darren Currie - Fred Davies always struggled to find a good left winger but Currie was the best and most gifted he unearthed. His goal on debut v Swansea in 1995 was magical.
CM Tony Kelly - A terrific ball player who weighed in with goals too. Had he been naturally fitter he'd have been a top flight fixture.
CM Paul Evans - scored goals but had a lot more to his game, too. I was delighted to see the success he had after leaving the club and never understood the stick he got from some Town fans.
CF Luke Rodgers - looked like scoring every time he got the ball when he was at his peak. Should have gone on to do more than he has.
CF Carl Griffiths - another natural goal machine. Shared the golden boot in 92/93, the only Town striker I can recall achieving such a feat.
Subs:
Joe Hart - clearly sheer quality Ian Stevens - lazy but prolific. It was impossible not to like him. Nigel Jemson - partnership with Rodgers was very special indeed. Dean Spink - gets picked just cos 93/94 was so, so special and he was a big part of it. Mark Taylor - was playing left wing when I first saw him, and was very average. Transformed, though, when he moved into the middle.
Manager - got to be Fred Davies. Okay, Wembley and Liverpool went badly wrong for him, but he masterminded a league title triumph and did a great job on a pretty meagre budget. And just getting to Wembley at all was pretty special.

Largely agree with the above, but could never bear Spink.
Also, ahem, someone seems to be missing.
ONE AUSTIN BERKLEY!!!!!!!

Was trying to sort out best team since 1954 but came unstuck once we came to midfield how do you choose between,
Broadbent, Boardman, Brodie, Maquire, Durban, Daley, Kelly, McLaughlin, et al we have had so many superb players shame there have not been that many in the last 10 years where I would think Hart might be the only one to make the squad

First STFC game 1998 (late starter I know!), became a regular about 2000/2001
Hart
Lawrence-------------Tinson-------------------Moss---------------Tierney
Asamoah---------Edwards--------------O'Connor----------------Aiston
Cooke--------------------------Rodgers
Subs
Scott Howie Peter Wilding Chris Humphrey Richard Hope Lee Steele
Perhaps I should note, this is the 'greatest' team in terms of enjoyment watching these players, and favourites.
