Guys. Just about to start my career with Shrewsbury Town FC. Can anybody recommend me some good players to sign, who are: - £0 - £120,000 - Will Actually Sign - Got Work Permit (Foreign) - Under 35 Thanks in advance.  |

I want a good teams, with loads of different nationalities and all that.

Nicholson is dogs wotsits in the lower leagues as amazing as it sounds so sign him if you can.
Aaron Brown centre half from Reading,injured at start of season is good.Get him on a free.

I have added the whole of eupope + china to the database ;D that team of conference rejects as you call them has pushed me into a chase for the championship playoffs after a couple of seasons |

I'm in my 10th season as Shrewsbury manager and am in my second season in the premiership.
Managed to get up as champions from each division in seasons 2, 6 and 8.
First season I made a number of cheap old players to tie the club over, Martin Smith from Darlington, Claus Jorgenson from Bournemouth, Aiston, Eugene Bopp, Gareth O'Connor. Mainly found these as they were transfer listed. Also bought in Tony Carss who was without a club. Later that season bought in Deividas Cesnauskis (lithuanian international) on a free, who was sold 2 season down the line for £1.25 million, thus setting me up for future. Also kept getting Stuart Nicholson back on loan till signing him pernamently in season 3 - he's now broken the all time scoring record for the club.
Key to this was forging an affiliate link with Liverpool in season 2 and consequently managing to loan some of their youngsters on long term loans - Miki Roque, Nabil El Zhar, James Smith, Besian Idiraj, Damian Plessis among others. Also bought in some youngsters from other premier league clubs. As seasons progressed I was able to get some of these back for future seasons due to Shrewsbury being among their favourite clubs. In getting these players in, I wasn't paying their wages, whilst at the same time off loading several contracted players when possible, thus reducing wages and generating a bank balance.
I've now got millions in the bank, and a stadium being expanded to 17,000 (didn't start expanding till the championship).

I have just started a new season. Decided not to sign or release anyone to start with. Lost my first two games, then in two consecutive games, Wrexham away and Mansfield at home, went 2-0 down and won both 3-2, despite being down to 10 men and Tierney injured against Wrexham!
Now top of the league with 5 games to go, looking good for promotion!

Still on 2007 version. Sent Kelvin on loan to Halifax and he wouldn`t come back!!! He was there 3 years untl his contract ran out!  |

there is a lad at villa called adam mcGurk who is injured for the first 3 months but i have managed to get him on loan til the end of the season and then sign him. he eventually goes for about 3 million. try the french lower leagues for bargains, lots of good stats at sometimes bargain prices.

loan in loads of Prem/Champ players. Songo'o got me 11 goals and 20 assists from the right wing in my first shrewsbury season. There an everton CM aswell who does well. cant fully remember his name, think hes called Viddarsson

If i may suggest, I got Town up first season, and am currently 4th in my second season in League One... key to ur success are pacey players, like Michael Nardiello (loan from West Brom or £16k plus sell on) - I also had Heaton in goal from Man Utd on season long loan, and strengthened defensively by signing Aaron Brown from Reading (£5k) Ryan Cresswell from Sheff Utd (£1k) and also Wolves were my parent club, and I loaned the likes of Jody Craddock and Stephen Ward on 3 month loans, with Jarvis and Gleeson joining for season-long loans and O'Connor coming in permanently for £20k.
The most surprising thing was the fact that largely it was players already at town who got me promoted - Pugh, Davies, Leslie, Langers, Herdy and Constable were all excellent (Jimmy C bangs the goals in at League Two level!) Drummond, Cooke and Hibbert were sold for £50k £16k and £22k to help bring some transfer funds in, and after the excellent season I managed to sell Pugh for £40k plus 50% sell on, and Davies for £100k plus 50% sell on... Richard Walker is also a good signing as a backup striker should u need one, and is usually available for just a few thousand... One player who scores thousands of goals at L1 and L2 is Mark Archdeacon - available as a youth player from Motherwell at the start of the game - grab him if you can, he scored loads of goals for me to get me promoted and if it wasn't for a nasty knee injury he'd have done the same in League One...
Second season is easier, as more ppl are available on free transfers and on the transfer list... one thing I will say is in League One I've struggled to keep goals out, and it's only the lucky signings of Michael Bridges (free) Shefki Kuqi (free) and Guillem Bauza (free) that have kept me midtable, each scoring a decent number of goals... grabbed Arjan de Zeeuw on a free, he may be 38 but he's still excellent at that level!

Kostadinov from Hearts under 18s is class too - just depends if he'll come...
Only sign Doudin if its pre-patch (8.0.2) they've fixed him in the patch so he's very average now...
