Went to Halifax last night with about 800 other hardy souls - there were about 20 away fans there, and boy was it cold.
FGR went one up when the Halifax keeper (Carts serving a one match ban) dropped the ball right on his line and it was stabbed home. the FGR fans a while to realise it was in and when they did, they celebrated in a rather conservative manner.
FGR did very well. Whilst Halifax put in as poor a performance as I've seen from a side this year, Rovers' players closed down quickly, created several chances and were very difficult to break down.
I think Rodgers will be the key on Saturday as they did look a little unsettled when players ran at them, but sadly for Halifax last night they had no-one able to do that regularly.
Tough game on Saturday I think.

Interesting report- no game is easy in this league but I am hopeful we can perform well down there. Cramb, Rodgers and Banim can all open defences by running at them so it will be an interesting selection.

I see Rovers are 5th in the form table, play-off form at the moment.

They missed a hatful of chances against Farnborough at the weekend and they are struggling to score at the moment, but the veteran Neil Grayson is back to full fitness.
I think the players Town will have to watch out for are Grayson, Scott Rogers - a quick attacking midfielder, and Alex Meechan.
We should have little problems in seeing them off, but I bet Chester thought that when they went to The Lawn, Quinny must make sure the boys don't underestimate FGR
