I know that Telford United and Chester City are in a league of their own when it comes to all things football related, especially when it comes to arranging games, but I have to say I am totally confused regarding the ticketing arrangements for the game next week. Reading last night's programme Judy Shone tells us that she has been assured by TUFC that the game is not all ticket, yet the sloppy star has a story from Telford about a scheme from TUFC for the allocation of tickets for the game. Come on you lot, if you have aspirations of league status, try and be just a little more professional, and stop messing us about. I understand also from a pal of mine that the prices have been hiked up, both for admission and in the bar; even the Millwall lads, used to paying inflated London prices for beer, were staggered to find beer on sale at £3 plus a pint. Still, if you are biggest club in the Conference, with the best goalkeeper, best manager (moaner), best playing surface and biggest potential...you've got to find some way of minimizing the massive losses that you must be incurring!
