........that the Conference introduced play offs. Before last season when only the champions were promoted our season would (realistically) already be over and we'd be playing meaningless fixtures with nothing to play for. As much as it is still mathematically possible to win the league I can't see Chester slipping up. However, our next three games are winable and if we get nine points from Forest Green, Gravesend and Aldershot (not easy but at home) who knows where we'll be. If Chester match us for results over the same period I think it's definitely over but if they only pick up 5 or 6 points who knows? come on Salop!!!!!

Sat against forest green will be hard with no luke and Sammy - as last night showed there is very little attacking quality like thouse 2 in this leage and we need Darby and Cramb(!) to have a few good games now - that said - we should beat them and then welcome back Luke for the Run in - its all still on at the moment!!!!

ahhhh good news mate - well thats gonna give JQ some selection problems Luke will have to play Darby - if he drops him then his confidences will be shot and will not know what he has to do get a run!!! Cramb - will probable go to the papers again and cause trouble if dropped Banim - realistically the only chance of playing is on the wing at the momnet but will JQ have the balls to drop lowe Up front its gonna be a stright Darby Cramb choice - or will he shock us and go back to 3 up front in and AWAY game ---- a hard week of thinking for JQ

I love your post SouthEastShrew.
It starts off saying that we've no chance of the title but by the end you're much more optimistic.
Really sums us Town fans I think.

rodgers will be vital. He is more lively, offers more energy, movement, pace and directness then Cramb and Darby do playing as a partnership. He'll be even more importnat with Mr Aiston being injured.
