word on the terraces is that Quinn's first signing next season will be their centre forward, David McNiven.
Went from Northwich to Leigh at end of last season and apparently JQ is a big fan.
He was quiet tonight but is 3rd in the golden boot with 22 goals.
End of Lowey? Lukey?

Just what i heard from the stewards sitting behind us.
22 goals in a struggling side cant be bad though and scored both vs us at their place.

Do you mean Banim SNFC? If so then yes, he will be great for us!
But what I was getting at, if we are to sign another player from this league I would prefer to have a go for Sam Ricketts (great player and top bloke) than Dave McNiven, who we really don't need.

Ah I see, didn't really notice watching live, I'll keep an eye out on the video ;D
Any news on Chris Murphy's condition btw? I was taken to meet him by a couple of girls in my media class who go to all the Telford training sessions and he was a top bloke, and someone I rated very highly, I even signed their get well card for him ;D Hope his recovery is going ok?

I don't think we'll see him agin this time Peter and that may not be a bad thing for him to be honest.
Whilst he does give us a different attacking option there are two things to consider
1. He has never really got over his injury and fall from Novemebr
2. he was hyped up beyond his perfomances earlier in the season.
If he had continued to play he would probably been okay, as he could have continued his form etc. However, after the lay-off he is struggling to impose himself.
I really only see him as a good squad player, rather than a first team regular!

Agreed that maybe Murphs isnt cut out for full time first team action yet, he's still a bit lightweight and too easily pushed about, and some of his attempts at winning the ball against us the other week were embarassing to watch Keep faith in him tho, I've met him a few times now and he's a top lad, very enthusiastic and eager to repay Telford for taking the chance on him. He's desperate for success and he wants it to come with Telford, he loves the club and the fans so he told me, and imo you are lucky to have him! He'll prove me right next season, luckily we'll have gone up and won't have to witness it first hand ;D

If we still have three of the four we have now, we don't need another striker. They can all cut it at div three. What we need is quality on the flanks - last night all four were poor, and only Mossy deserves a place on merit.

There must have been at lest 8/9 refferences to Quinn being a big admirer of McNivan and lining up a deal to bring him to Gay Meadow.
