Just an attempt to boost his confidence I imagine, Ryan is a confidence player and getting on his back (even if it is justified) is not going to help one bit.

I get the point but why is it its him ever single week and no body else - Always Lowe like we always forget the crapness that he showsweek in week out - if ever there wa a player at this club who has resived an easy ride at the club its him
Anway If he cant handle it he can bugger off - he will not be here next season any way at this rate - needs to up his overal game or give Streety a chance!

he gets cheared when the teams come out for the second half because he runs over to the Riverside to stand on the wing.

Give Streety a chance?! Should he balls give Streety a chance, he's had loads of chances and has performed like the proverbial dog poo. Get Ian Fitzpatrik in, or Glenn Tolley. But I don't want to act like I'm totally dis-agreeing with you Glyn so I will concur that big Duane was awesome tonight, excellent game and an excellent goal!

Craig i stand on the roverside and are you saying just cos he is nearest to us he gets preferential treatment - aif thats the case - he is getting a easy ride - i truley beilve that if he were to get a good (bad) crowd reaction he would be a better player for it as i think he is comfotable with his role of fans fav and does little to improve now!!!!

Think Lowey is a fans favourite and will always get a chant! He always applauds the crown, especially when his name is sang! If this could happen for every player surley they would feel better for themselves! Stood on Wakeman for last 3-4 minutes today and couldnt stand the amount of whinging and moaning towards Lowe and Cramb! I couldnt manage a full 5 minutes on the Wakeman! and get behind them!

Totally agree with all you've put GPricey
I can't really see why Street is not being given a chance by fans, if Crewe and Bristol Rovers fans still really rate him (and how many ex players do fans still really rate) there can't be a lot wrong with him. The treatment Darby had was the same, people on his back all the time but now he's starting to settle in and score a few. And Street is constantly played in different positions, right back, right wing, left wing, centre midfield so how's he supposed to settle?

Wherabouts is the Roverside I think he does get the cheers because of his close proximity to the fans. It happens every time he plays on the right wing. He didn't deserve cheers after his first half performance tonight though.

Could it just be that singing "Ryan Lowe Lowe Lowe" is the easiest chant we do. ;D It probably also explains why we dont sing Cramb's name a lot, to be honest 'Cramb' is not a very singable name is it Also Darby certainly wears his heart on his sleeve, judging by his reaction as he went off.

Street has had plenty of chances to perform. He was completely anonomous once he came on, i fact the only thing he did was give away a free kick for blatently pushing over the leigh left back.
As for Lowe, it was his run and pass that put Darby through (Have to say Darbys finish was erm interesting to say the least). I know where your coming from because I spoke to my dad after the match and he said Lowe was crap. I thought (as did SKY) that Lowe looked quite good first half, had a shot or two, was making brilliant runs beyond the strikers and always looking for the ball. More than could be said for other players.

Street really seems on a his lowest ebb at the moment and he looks lost in any of the wide positions he has been playing in. I think he probably feels a bit cheated by Quinn as he was brought in as a central midfielder and the likes of Edwards are knocking him down in the pecking order.
Play as a central midfielder or don't play him at all.

Using that argument we should just boo all the players as soon as they come on the pitch and carry on booing them through the game. That way they will try harder and win - simple . Not sure what we would do at the end of the game though, because they might relax if we clap or cheer.

I thought pulling off Duane Darby was one of the worst substitutions ever.
