Knee ligament injury according to sky. Doesn't sound very promising. Sounds like his 5 game suspension couldn't have come at a better time.

It always struck me as unfair (or lucky) when a players suspension coincides with injury and not playing anyway.

can't remember, but it was good to see that he was able to walk of the pitch quite comfortbaly. It 5 minutes to make the substitution so *hopefully* it is not too serious.

An awful challenge on him.
Unpunished by the referee.
The standard of officiating at this level is simply not good enough.

I damaged my knee ligaments playing football. Physio for between 4-6weeks if thats any sort of indication.

is it the same knee as last time ? the one that prevented him from signing for someone else the one that shakey advised stfc could go at any minute

Yup no.8 made a number of cynical fouls which was dissapointing. A stronger and more competent ref would have seen him sent off for two bookables
