Right, helpe me out here. What format do the play offs take now? Has it reverted to the traditional two legs, or is it still 5th goes to 2nd, 4th goes to 3rd for two one off matches? I know this was experimented with, but did it stick?? Two legs!!! I want two legs! (No Heather Mills gags please)

Copied from Confguide page If aggregate scores are level after 90 minutes of the 2nd leg, "silver goal" extra time applies. If still level, then the usual penalty shoot-out separates the sides. At no point does an "away goal counts extra" rule apply. Is a "silver goal" the same as a "golden goal" but just another name for it?

I think that with silver goal you carry on playing to the end of the half.
For instance, if a team scores after 2 minutes of extra time the game will continue until half time, and if there has been no equaliser the game is over.

Is a silver goal one where they play to the end of the half of extra time that the first goal is scored in?
