Is it me or are there more beggars on the streets these days?
I wish these people would get up off their backsides and find some work. The streets of Shrewsbury are becoming an eyesore.
Isn`t begging a crime? if not it should be

Isn`t begging a crime? if not it should be So your solution would be to throw beggers into jail which would cost the public lots more? Hmm

Not jail, that is just clothing and housing them at the taxpayers expenses. I suggest a return to the workhouses of old.
There is no excuse for being poor in this society, unless you are sick or disabled. Beggars are just lazy, workshy scroungers who pray on peoples generocities and insecurities.

His record at Torquay since he charge is absolutely phenomenal.
Its amazing he has never had the job of his dreams at Shrewsbury, but our loss is Torquay`s gain,

Just like great other managers Graham Turner for Wolves,. Paul Jewel for Wigan, Gary Johnson for Yeovil now at Bristol City and John Coleman at Accy, even Ian Atkins openly admitted that Torquay were really lucky to avoid the drop last season and it was a fluke. Gary Peters the real Messiah for all Shrewsbury Fans notworthy

David Cameron is a complete t*****. What is all this `hug a hoodie` stuff all about. Cant wait for Blair to give him a pasting in PMQ`s. Incidentally its my birthday tomorrow! All messages of cogratulation will be greatly appreciated I have no problem with Cameron's 'hug a hoodie' or 'hug a glacier' incidents. Ostensibly he is acknowledging that much crime has its roots in social deprivation and that the environment is of crucial and immediate importance. If only I believed that the Conservative party would actually effectively address these issues if elected to office. Unfortunately they are clearly stunts to re-brand the Tories as 'compassionate Conservatives (an oxymoron if ever I heard one!) when in reality they would de-criminalise fox hunting and concentrate on tax cuts for the rich, while probably getting rid of the minimum wage (or at least restricting it to £2.50 per hour or something!). Oh and I nearly forgot privatising the NHS (although admittedly Blair also seems quite keen on this).

Our result at Bury wasn`t bad, but performance of the day goes to Steve evans` Boston side thumping Darlo 4-1. That win would have given Steve a great deal of pleasure.
Town have a battle on next week

Fortunately we know we will never suffer such an unfortunate event while under the leadership of Mr.Peters.

sloppy defending?
Well the four goals we have conceded thus far have all been pretty poor goals to concede:)

We've scored 5 though...
The second Mansfield goal was offside and the Notts Co goal could have been given as a foul on the keeper...
So instead of 5 points we could be looking at 9.
Be positive FFS

On the contrary I was merely correcting a post stating that under GP we'd never concede either late goals or sloppy goals, as we have conceded 5 goals that many people feel could have been quite easily prevented. Aleix your posts on the match discussin threads often make positive reading Don't eat pies from the buffet young Andrew

I always try to be positive.
That when we concede I swear doesn't make it negative, just rude.

This is why football is so great - the difference in people's opinions. I'm very much the eternal optimist while Rob is quite the opposite. Great stuff :-)

This is in no way being disrespectful to Darren Clarke & his family in their time of utter grief, but am I alone in being sick of hearing about the "terminally ill Jayne Tomlinson"? Jayne people like darren's missus are terminally ill, like thousands of other unfortunate souls. They are not fit to walk round the hospice grounds, but you, in your 4th year of terminal illness, can now manage to do a 5000 mile triathlon type event across America.
Jayne, you may have cancer & You are probably doing great fundraising, but I have family & friends who have had genuine immediate & terminal cancer, please do not insult their memory by, through your mouthpieces, telling us all how hard it is for you to run across America
