Gary Peters v Steve Evans
Who will win the battle of the managers.? I will be very impressed if Town turn over Boston, as Steve Evans is a quality manager and a proven winner

I will be very impressed if Town turn over Boston, as Steve Evans is a quality manager and a proven winner I will be pleased if we win, because we have not beaten Boston yet, since they came into the league. But that was also true of Rushden until last season, and look what happened to them once we got a win against them

Fascinating interview with Steve Evans in tonights Star. Got to feel really sorry for the bloke, he is Boston through and through, and he is a great manager. If they aren`t careful a big club will come in for him. Steve Evans

Let me guess, he's moaning about having not much money to spend on players etc?
I think what he is really trying to say is that he doesn't like playing to the rules.

Or that Gay Meadow's tunnel entrance might be a bit too narrow for his head.

This is in no way being disrespectful to Darren Clarke & his family in their time of utter grief, but am I alone in being sick of hearing about the "terminally ill Jayne Tomlinson"? Jayne people like darren's missus are terminally ill, like thousands of other unfortunate souls. They are not fit to walk round the hospice grounds, but you, in your 4th year of terminal illness, can now manage to do a 5000 mile triathlon type event across America. Jayne, you may have cancer & You are probably doing great fundraising, but I have family & friends who have had genuine immediate & terminal cancer, please do not insult their memory by, through your mouthpieces, telling us all how hard it is for you to run across America So you hate hearing about cancer sufferers but want to hear from a racist. Sums you up i guess.

Our result at Bury wasn`t bad, but performance of the day goes to Steve evans` Boston side thumping Darlo 4-1. That win would have given Steve a great deal of pleasure. Town have a battle on next week Their result against darlo wasnt bad, but performance of the day goes to GP's Shrewsbury side thumping Boston 5-0. BET THAT GAVE STEVE A GREAT DEAL OF PLEASURE. Not such a great manager now messy?

Well u can`t argue with 5-0, and Town were well worthy of that. My first game of the season today, and I thought Hall was impressive, along with Asamoah`s pace. Think Cooke and him could be a decent partnership. Langmead tried hard, but as usual there was no end product with him.
Hope and Burton have no confidence in Esson at all, but i thought he did ok, and they need to concentrate on their own game as neither were convincing today.
Got to feel sorry for Steve Evans, but im sure he will have Boston up there at the end of the season, he`s a top manager
