Pilch makes some very good points.
I noticed earlier in the season that Terry (the riverside) had stopped doing his excellent match previews on B&A and Ant was doing them.
I thought it unfair that Ant should be doing more Content on B&A and emailed him, to say I would like to help.
So I have done them for a while and have always said if Terry can get away from the nappies or anyone else wants to do them they can.
I have enjoyed it but finding information on some teams is almost impossable.
The last resort occured this week, asking JP for help
So I can appriciate how hard Ian and his helpers work putting that programme together.
I do not know Ian or drink with him.
I have emailed him twice this season to complement him on his work.
The handfull of away games I have been to I have always bought a programme, none have been cheaper than ours, none have come close to our high standard.
I would love to do more for the club.
I would love to go to every game home and away, but family, money and work deem otherwise.
Ian seems to have a good band of helpers and contacts but if I saw or heard him asking for help and felt I could do a job I would put my name forward.
I remember talking to my mother on the phone after the Carlisle game last season at 11pm at night and here asking what would happen to the club now.
I was in a very distressed state, in tears to be honest, and telling her that I thought people would lose there jobs. As Wrighty has posted above some of those people thought the same.
So lets credit the chairman, he could see that Ian was a vital part of the club, getting the message out.
There are somethings wrong with STFC but there are a lot more things right.
Do not forget there is a page in that programme for B&A users to write an article so you can make a difference.
