I was not happy at all post-Aldershot away but JQ has got us promoted and for that he deserves a I think he'll have to work especially hard in the summer ahead of next season but the signing of Challis was much needed and hopefully he will now recognise sooner where he needs to improve the side.

Well done to Jimmy and the lads..... I still think he's a poor manager on the whole. His tactics have been strange on a number of occasions along with his man management skills. However he has completed the task we so badly wanted completing and to that i say a huge thank you

There have been times I've said some harsh things, too- but it now seems that the mistakes have been put right- we have a more settled, commited squad who have proved that they CAN battle it out to the end, without conceding last minute goals, the way they used to. They seem to have more fire and enthuiasm- it must come from somewhere!
So- yes! Well done Jimmy! And I really hope that we can build on this succcess- because it's not the end- it's only the beginning of better times.

the mighty quinn song at the end was fantastic - good on him - we have all felt the emotions of his selections - we had to repeat the pre-season stuff, and we have - just at the right time-
JIMMY QUINNS BARMY ARMY
JIMMY QUINNS BARMY ARMY
JIMMY QUINNS BARMY ARMY

The Aldershot game was a turning point.
At that point we were out of the play-offs and playing poorly.
Since then, the team had a new attitude, and even though the football didn't suddenly reach particularly new heights, their was a belief in the team and in the supporters and a real sense of desire.
Quinn deserves massive credit for that and we should forever be grateful for him. But if you were to look back at the criticisms made on this board 2 months ago, I'd guess that over 90% of them were totally valid.
And yet, they don't matter any more.

Did a job - now he has anotehr to do next season and like any manager he will stand and fall by that - keep us up and keep on managing and you could be here a very long time
As for nighthoods - that can wait!!
