I disagree
In Challis and Lawrence he has solved the left back / no crossing / no width situation
excellent performance by us today and beaten by a very good team who will get into the league this year
on Tuesday I would have had Quinn strung up, today I think he has answered my criticisms

What was the reaction when he brought himself on? His ego trip has to stop!

Reaction? You expecting everyone to boo/cheer when JQ brings himself on with what, 2/3 mins to go? Think most people were still wondering how Jody didn't manage to beat the keeper from 3ft out No reaction, just sad at the end to have lost what was a good competetive game

He came on as we resotred to playing the ball in the air. First half, playing on the ground and cutting the ball in we were all over them. They have a good manager in Graham Turner - remember him !

What was the reaction when he brought himself on? His ego trip has to stop! I reckon he was concerned about his TOP striker adding a second yellow in a frantic finish off the corner. And can someone give Rodgers a lesson in one-touch football, rather than faffing around.

Look , we did alright today.Hereford were not better than us, they just got the break when it was needed. If we had played at Stevenage, Tamworth, Halifax and Leigh Etc like we payed today, we would be the team that every one was trying to catch. Today i was proud to be an STFC fan.

Today was encouraging.
Play like that for the rest of the season and we'll be in the playoff shake-up come the end of the season.
We must get something out of each of the next two games though.

Jamo, absolutely spot on. Twas almost a happy car going home with me and Dad both happy with performance (albeit gutted not to get a point). And ASFC, Jamo was looking in fine physical shape as he ran up the steps into the Len Weston stand. You boys beware next saturday........

Maybe he brought himself on because Darby was slipping out of the game (not surprising given the battering he and the effort he put in). Anyone at the game will agree that the reason we were any good, was because Darby won everyball in the air, he held the ball up, he collected it from deep, linked up play with the rest of the side and shot at will. He was a perminant fixture upfront, guaranteed to pick up the ball. All in all something Cramb wasnt. If we'd put Cramb on instead we'd have lost that. Hence it was a like for like sub, after all on form he did look the most dangerous player when he came on against Aldershot. Maybe people should take off their anti-Quinn specs, it might help them evaluate the situation a bit more clearly.

Some of the faith restored for me today- match could have gone either way but the main thing was we were just so much better than Tuesday- a real headache for Quinn with the central midfield situation- most of us would like to see Tolley and OConnor but if they are not fully fit it's a real dilemma.

If as you say we played well yesterday then why bring back Tolly and /or O'Conner?
For me, the biggest failings this season have been our midfield, at least yesterday they played attacking football from the middle. lets give them another go in the middle.

ERM no way get the lying t**t out of town............he has leid to us and tryed to decieve us into believing he is a manager and has stfc at heart, if that were the case why squander money on your mates(DC,CB,AR) sorry 1 decent game in 20 odd dont cover the cracks

I have no problem with Quinn bringing himself with 5-10minutes to go, he cause's trouble for defenders an we've seen this season that sometimes this pays off.
At the moment I'd rather have Quinn on than Cramb because at least one of them wants to play for this football club.
Derby and Rodgers to start though!

Have to say overall I thought we were excellent yesterday we showed the commitment and fighting spirit we have been lacking. Was upset by the result but not the performance.
I have no problem with Quinn bringing himself on for the last twenty or so minutes. His presence and height worry the crap out of opposition defenders and gives them something new to deal with just when they begin to relax. On Tuesday I thought when he came on he changed the game for us and we sunddenly looked far more threatening.
