Why oh why didn't they allow the second half of the terracing open to Shrewsbury fans? Hardly anyone could see due to the amount of adults gathered at the front so about 20 adults/children (including Pilch) mounted the fence seperating the terracing, therefore the people standing up couldn't see half of the pitch. After a lot of debate (alot from Bilbo) they agreed to open the gate and allow a few in to the empty terrace, I was the last one through. But still a few hadn't got over- so understandably (after being denied acess to the terrace) mounted the fence (again) and jumped over. Absolute choas.

absolutely amateur by Hereford, very very poor decision making by the stewards and could have cause serious injury
If they are going to the league they are going to have to sort it out
If you thought that was silly though, you should have seen the police outside, absolutely ridiculous

Agreed. The whole set up inside was very amatuerish and like you said, people could have been hurt.
Imagine if people had tried that at GM, they would never have gotten away with it.

I was in the group that started singing "get your arses off the wall" and then had a nutter jump off the wall and come right in our faces and yell how he had a right to watch football even if it meant standing on a wall. Pilch was screamed at a few times to get down ;D (I wont say what the shouted! ) ps Bilbo thanks for all your help during the match- even helped my mate over the fence mate I think it was you anyway.....

Sorry if I blocked anyone's view at the beginning of the second half, though I did remove myself when told "There are 200 people back there who can't see!" However, I did reply, after a particularly obvious foul: "There's one on the pitch who can't either!"

The whole thing was a shambles again the bottom line is that these Amateur clubs like Hereford and Chester simply cannot handle the large number of travelling fans that big clubs like ours have ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

write to Mr G Turner - he's in charge there
and add a PS saying we love him and miss him dearly. he said he would consider coming back once he had done his job of getting Hereford back into the League.
Hereford for Champions ! (last game of season v Chester )

I have to disagree with you there. You would be the first to complain if the police had let you through and you were attacked by some Hereford hooligans. Its better to be held back for 10-15 minutes and avoid confrontation and be safe than be let out of Blackfriars Street straight away and get 'duffed up'.
2-1 TO THE HEREFORD!

Looking on from the Len Weston upper tier quite a lot of people stood in that flat area in front of the away terrace in the first half, all of the terrace should have been opened from the start really. Also the turnstiles at Edgar Street are bloody tight (and I'm almost as skinny as Kate Moss), also the area around the toilets/buffet (for the Len Weston stand anyway) was very cramped, obviously Edgar Street is a danger trap so therefore Hereford shouldnt go up on ground safety requirements

You should have seen the rozzers all along the A49 - parked on roundabouts, in laybys, hidden in turn offs for country roads...

Edgar Street is a danger trap so therefore Hereford shouldnt go up on ground safety requirements and Shrewsbury shouldn't go up because they are cr@p. Thought you looked good again today and should have been a goal or two ahead at the break. Fortunately Stevie G had a bit of luck and walked the ball in to the goal for our winner. Rogers looked decent today but Darby was a cheating donkey from what I could see. Unfortunately after a few years of non-league football our stewards no longer know how to control a large away following, and the same can probably be said for the police. As for complaining about the facilities at Edgar Street though, I think your being a bit of a pot describing a kettle. I think we'd all agree that we both have cr@p grounds but unfortunately until our council pull their finger out we're stuck with what we've got. Please beat Chester. Thanks.

The crew walking back to the station were in real danger of being "duffed up" weren't they.

Then keep us in the ground and tell us what you are doing Don't let us out of the ground, let us walk into a confined area, then stop us from moving forward, while still allowing people to join us fromt he back, and NOT TELL US ANYTHING as I say, trouble or not the way the situation was handled was ridiculous and could have been a cause of serious disorder We were standing waiting to go to our cars and some copper with a camcorder comes past videoing all of us, women, children, all of us, everyone's faces on video I am sure that can't be legal, or we can request the tapes or something

We do have a crap ground, but our 'toilets' are bigger, also you dont need to breathe in to go through our turnstiles. We will do our best to beat Chester, but I dont care who we beat now, I just want to see us in the top five.
