Why waste part of your life doing something you don't enjoy anymore whats the sense in that. Is that why you watch the Town every other week (or more so at the at the moment cos your team can't get a game on), and spend so much time on this message board.............I've had enough i'm off to e mail the S/Star

lol i've been to 3 of your games so hardly every other week. lol harmerhill Shrew "Real fans follow there club whatever" is what Telford Shrew wrote so you are asking the wrong person Ant my point is which isn;t too hard to take in, is if you don't enjoy the game ,or enjoy meeting new people before the game or after the game or going for a drink .if you DON'T enjoy these anymore why should you have to go? the simple answer is you don't, just like Seanbroseley he isn't enjoying it so why should he pay £12 to not enjoy himself .In Telford Shrews world Seanbroseley is not a real fan .

I'm sure Dunc doesn't think that Sean is an 'un-loyal' fan but I appreciate your point Bally. I think a lot of people have continued to follow the Town this year due to the 'we're in it with the players' mentality. Keep on supporting them whatever and we may get back up this year. If it works and we were to bounce back I could see the excellent attendances staying. If we don't make it though...

I think your support this year has been excellent, but if you don't go up and challenge again next year i don't see any reason why they shouldn't remain high. Its only if you start to struggle in the Conf or mid table obscuirity will your crowds dwindle away.

The 76 to Scuny in the LDV is a fair enough point but the 110 estimate at Margate is laughable.
In their next game they got 255 in total.
There were at least 200 Town fans there that day.

>>>ive heard that carlisle have already applied for the scottish league just in case. <<< Just in case? Don't worry, it's going to happen. This season hopefully. It's not good to hope any club gets relegated but I'll make an exception with them.

I'm amazed you think 110 is an accurate figure for the number of Shrewsbury fans there that day Harkaboy.

The programme says 110 away fans at Margate out of a total crowd of 635. I presume Margate supplied those figures and as all fans came in through the same turnstiles I don't see how they can give an accurate split. It seemed more than 110 to me as well...

15 mins before KO, and that was only in one area not the whole ground including the seats, to those that went yes it was not segregated , but all the Town Fans congregated together, www.stfc.fotopic.net/photo.php?id=2004313

as far as prices go bally the other week
3 of us fancied a game and had the choice of telford v crawley for £10 (full price) or wolves v kiddy for £12
kiddy should have won as well
when was the last time a club reduced it prices because of relegation ?

i stood at that end for the whole match, when we cheered the awarding of the penalty quite a few margate fans politely told us to "p**s off down your own end" this was followed by an even louder cheer when Rodgers missed.

If I remember correctly the fans which did change end, didn't do so until the teams swapped ends just before k-o, Hence Telford Shrew's description of the photo would be accurate.

Surely most true Town fans dont go to watch them expecting to see dynamic, exciting football in the knowledge they are going to win. If that was the whole point of being a true supporter we would all be Man U fans. When I pop to see my parents I dont go hoping they have made me a cake, I go cos I love them and they are a very important part of my life. Sometimes they p*ss me off so I stay away for a while. I still love them. I dont love my parents on the condition that they live in a posh area in a big house and mix with the right people. I wouldnt like to see them slumming in a bed sit, but that wouldnt affect how I feel about them.
Its the same with STFC. Sometimes they p*ss me off, it doesnt matter if they are in the conf or whatever, they are still an important piece of my life.
