A couple of weeks ago I started a thread about Darby's "disappointing" form and got shouted down in a rather disgraceful manner. One of your regulars has just started one, do they get shouted down? Do they f**k.
I read a thread last week asking if you were a clique and I've got to say this is evidence that you are. It appears no one is allowed to express a different opinion.
On the subject of the great man himself, why you lot are clamouring for him to be in the side ahead of our top scorer is beyond me. One goal in ten is not good enough. He simply does not look like scoring. But I suppose it's more a case of whose face fits, isn't it?
BTW I would love him to prove me wrong.

There's loads of people who posted on that Darby thread who have only registered since the start of the season/ last summer.
Yonkoo - can't you give Darby a bit of playful stick like with Cramb at Gravesend - maybe it'll do him some good too ;D

I used to be sick of the sight of Duane Darby as he was one of those strikers who would always score against us, now he's in a Town shirt I desperately want him to do as well for us as he would against, but I think he's had his fair crack at the whip for now and probably needs to go back to the subs bench, even though I'm not sure that will make any difference, he looks very downbeat at the moment.
Also, did anyone see the difference in Kevin Street after he scored, Evo1 has a mate who is a Crewe reserves player who said Kevin Street is a 'confidence player', I think he had a point there.

Not just in traning Philc the last 2 sub apperances have been nothing short of woefull- we might as well never bring cramb on as a sub as it never achives anything (unlike Banim) Also was i the only one that noticed that crambs sub was delayed untill the rain had stopped ;D i reckon the "lazy" man did not fancy getting all wet in a trophy game Sadly he has to start or not be a sub - and for me its the end of cramb as a regular first team player!

woeful? he nearly scored twice in about 10 minutes, closer than Darby came in the other 80!

Is that a serious post??? He is top scorer for God's sake!!! What is with your irrational dislike for Cramb? People should be allowed to express whatever opinion they like on a board and you have the right to say what you want but it is frustrating to read such vindictive and illogical comments.

Yonkoo, register, so many people come on here as guests and take pot shots at players and people on this board, also DD will continue to improve the more he plays, before he came here he hadn't really played first team football for ages.

Do they f**k. See mate, if a poster has got several mates that also post on this board, they are going to disagree with them (when ever) slightly more politley than a "Guest" or "A 12 year old numpty" Take it on the chin. And Duane Darby? You can't judge a Book Donkey by its Cover EEeeeee-hoooowrrrr!

Jevesy - the point is he nearley scored - but so did dearby - nither scored and its not unserprising on that pitch yesterday - so why draw that comparision
I remember with about 3 or 4 mins to go someone played a easy ball to Cramb which he tryed to pass first time messed up and gave it away - and then they broke away and almost equlised - now when Darby did that yesterday he chased back EVERY time to try and help but cramb just shrugged his shoulders and turnd around - and almost go us into looking at replays and a tone of other fixture problems. There is no way that you can say cramb was effective when he came on the 2 shots he did have came from him running from deep and taking it all the way, there was no links with luke and little in the way of attractive attacking football. Personally i would rather see Darby and Rodgers have link up play like yesterday than pin all our hopes on the "lazy" man trying to do it all himself
Oh and ChrisH im not wrong - at the moment Cramb is not a first team regular (2 sub apperances is not much) I joke about the rain and crambs sub clearley but i refer you back to my comments last week that if he was to improve (and clearly Quinny also recognises that he is not playing well) i would welcome a fit, functioning colin cramb back but its is not happing so i have a right to question his use CURRENTY Coments like yours back up the fact that this board might be a clique (which i dont think it is) for some people because of instead of debaing this point you basicly told me to shut up and stop being vindictive (which i aint). If i were a new poster i would think again before daring to express an opinian

Jevesy - the point is he nearley scored - but so did dearby - nither scored and its not unserprising on that pitch yesterday - so why draw that comparision no. my point was that Cramb created more goalscoring opportunites than Darby did in a fraction of the time. "the 2 shots he did have came from him running from deep and taking it all the way" does that include the chance he had when he deflected edwards' wayward shot towards the goal, from about 10 yards?

Damm you jeveesy ;D I did for get about that effort but he did not score again!!! I accept your point but my point is also true (in my view) that Rodgers and Darby look more like a front 2 and cramb looks more like a player who can play of the back of a front 2. Any only time will tell but at least my veiw of the current front 2 debate matchs our managers ;D ;D

both players are journey men, with unspectacular careers to date. And what does this make Jemson then? More clubs than Woods and a part from scoring the winner in the 90 league Cup final he'll only get remembered for The Everton goals and being a whinging pain in the arse. O and he fights supporters too ;D

I counted at least three more Jemson achievements than Cramb and Darby put together, I'm sure you can think of more if you tried harder though.

I would play Cramb ahead of Darby anyday. Darby has not impressed me in the slightest. Cramb may miss a few chances, which can be frustrating for the fans, but he also scores some of his chances. And Darby doesn't even look like scoring! I thought Darby was signed as a big man to head the high ball? The only way he will ever be good in the air is if he joins the RAF!
