My mate's company has a box there so we're quite hopeful. He has been offered use of it before. Just need to actually get through the quarter-finals and the semi-finals first!!!
We 15,000 to Wembley (Rotherham outnumbered us with 17,000. Boooooooo!) so hopefully as Villa Park is very close we could take the same at least, even if it's not quite as glamorous as Wembley!!! Be great to enjoy the day in the lap of luxury before returning to the third division... ;D

I have a mate who has a box at villa whether i could get it for the final (if we get there) i'm not sure at this stage (if they open it and provide the usual priveliges) , but i'm not sure if the opportunity came up, should i take it ,or shout my team on from the seats in the crowd?

A lot of boxes have seats in front of them so you can go and be outside in the atmosphere then go back in the box at half-time. Only box I have ever been in was at the Millennium Stadium as the Star had one for TNS v Man City in the Uefa Cup. It was great and you could sit outside and be part of it all still. If Villa Park boxes are like that, I would be well up for it for a bit of a change.

I would have thought these boxes will be readily available, but through the F.A, as they technically hire the stadium for the day.
It may be that existing box holders have preferential treatment though.

Well I'm not posting another word about it for fear of tempting fate! Subject to be revisited at around 5pm on April 3 should it still be of relevance to us!!!

Thing is the boxes at villa park are only on two sides of the ground (i stand to be corrected) but whether those ones will be open i'm not sure.
As for the ndh boxes on one side with few seats in front, but Chris even then not sure i could watch the game in a dignified manner and not shout chant etc ;D

I went in a box for the Fulham game, and with two Villa fans. The host thought we were great cos we cheered and jumped about (he is a Villa fan too, although his boss, who bought the box sits in the stands) and he normally gets quite stuffy guests.
I think I've got a good chance of getting that (all being well).

You can sing and shout! It's not like a directors box. We made plenty of noise when we were in the box at the Millennium!I'd be making plenty of noise at VP, exec box or not!!!

I was with mattsnapper on the side of the pitch - it were blumming freezing!

Ant - it wasn't cold where I was!
But yes it was the coldest weather I can remember for ages, we walked about a mile from the pub to the ground and it was flippen freezing.
Also whilst waiting for our guest in the foyer we got a 'Good Morning gentlemen' from Doug himself.
Good game too

Sorry chaps, you can keep your boxes.
It would have to be with the rest of the blue & gold army for me, specially for such an important game.
Still lets forget about it till it happens eh?

My uncle is a Villa fan and his company owns a box at Villa Park, I've always fancied watching a game in a box/executive area but I just dont know if I could keep a lid on it, I know I would have found it very hard to have kept quiet in the directors box last Saturday!
