How many of you are planning on coming to the quiz on Saturday night?
We've got some great prizes for the winning team and Shakey is acting as quizmaster again.
Remember that it's a 7-30 for 8pm start in the Arthur Rowley's Player Bar. It's £1 to enter the quiz per person and teams of 2-4 are accepted.

I will be in for the Quiz with Nick, Ant. Also if anyone needs a lift from AMF to the Meadow just shout. JP and myself are disgusted that this Quiz will not be all football but will still attend. Answer to Shakeys warm up question is the guy that managed Blackburn and talks like Johnathan Woss

It all depends how long the quiz goes on for, I'd guess it'll finish around 9pm but I'm sure a few will stay around after for a bit.

The answer to the question "who was the last English manager (before Steve McClaren guiding Middlesbrough to the Carling (League) Cup Sun 29th Feb 2004) to win a domestic trophy?" is Steve McMahon (Blackpool winning the LDV Vans Trophy in 2001)

Thats not a major trophy as it is not open to the top two leagues. thus it doesnt count.

I shall be there hoping for more general knowledge questions than footie ones. Thank the lord for Phil on that count Here is a little teaser i came across the other day! Q. What was significant about Darius Vassell replacing Michael Owen in England's quarter-final with Brazil in the 2002 World Cup?
