Brilliant article Pauline ! You should do a slightly expanded version for a newspaper article in Star or Chronicle

Thanks! I wrote that in such a hurry, I'm surprised it isn't riddled with grammatical errors!! I got so annoyed about those letters to The Shropshire Star!! GRRRRRRRRRRR!!! Sometimes, just sometimes, it works to write when you're angry!! ("OOOOH! You're lovely when you're angry," he said!! It's true- Mr Wiggy gets me mad on purpose, then laughs!!!)

Dear Wigan Shrew,
A superb article - again. I have read all your previous writings and you certainly have a knack of saying the right things. Thanks for my mention - didn't expect that! How I do agree with you - everyone I have met from the fan base is great and no-one seems to worry how old or young you are - as you say - we are fans.
Having of course read all items about the New Meadow and its opponents, I have often wondered how these people would feel if they met us while none of us was identifiable as Shrews fans. For example, while having a quiet meal out with friends, or perish the thought, while attending an event at the Music Hall as I sometimes do - would they be friendly and treat us as equals until, horror of horrors, we mention our love of STFC? I have often wished this would happen to me - perhaps it will one day when hopefully I could put the record straight!!!
