Didn't you think it was like watching two different games- say first half- a Leigh (which I saw) and the second- possibly a Hereford (which I didn't see, only heard about- so that's an educated guess!)
For all that I admit to being ignorant of the finer points, what was so apparent second half was teamwork, a totally different attitude- so much so that it was almost tangible- that electrifying feeling you sense when they're really up for it!!! Skills, confidence, a fighting spirit, teamwork- they'd got it together at last.
That was the same team that played such sloppy, lack-lustre football first half.
What does that prove? What are the implications for the future? Our team can do it, can't they? They really can!
Please, please PLEASE, may our squad never lose it again!!

Spot on Wiggy, I think most Town fans appreciate that we do have a team that is capable of promotion...it's the consistency that we lack and need. Lets hope this time they can keep the momentum going and put in a decent performance tomorrow evening!!

The biggest improvement second half (apart from the things such as desire and a bit of fight like you say Wiggy) was the fact that we moved the ball forward more quickly than the majority of games this season.
It was an attacking display similar to that against Woking first half down there, which again utilised our forward players to their upmost.
I thought Luke was effective, Darby was superb and Moss, Lowe, O'Connor and Aiston kept things moving forward.
How many times did Luke have to go back into his own half looking for the ball second half? None probably. That means we are finally playing to his strengths.
Same team Saturday please.

...and tomorrow me thinks welshshrew!! One good thing about playing two games in a week is that if we get a good run going it's better to keep the momentum going and play as many games as you can whilst things are going well. We really have the opportunity with so many games scheduled in the next few weeks and with some many games to be played at home. Come on Town!!
