im guessing you two hit it off well when you met. ive been chatting to a lass on msn for the last few weeks and we're going to meet in march when i get a week off work! to be honest, i'm s**tting myself! I've not had htis situation before. was it a bit weird when you actually met in person? i know sometimes people seem different online than in real life.

Most importantly, Watering holes round there anygood ? If your going tourist time April/May the place is busy has a great street market and all the usual high street shops, not sure where your staying but west bay is where i moored my boat, which is about 10/15mins walk to the harbour. The harbour is full of cafes/restaurants/bars and activity. The harbour is the shape of a oval and there are two beaches either side of the harbour entrance, careful if you've got kids though as the beaches are very steep, and classed as dangerous.

I met my (now ex) girlfriend over the net, like Lee said it is so so worth it Just don't make the mistake of choosing Shrews v Scarbrough over a day out with the lady in Brum the day after she returns from holiday, the quickest and easiest way to get dumped

The nightlife's not up to much, but the town itself is ok, and has been recently developed. Went into a pub once in my proffessinal footballing days, they had a local band on, a few of us walked in with our tracksuits on and in the middle of a song they stopped performing and stared at us as we made our way to the bar, very spooky
