Probably the best Ask Gary for sometime. Who was the d**khead who ask about the progress over the last 3 years. Great response by Gary.
Other questions were very interesting and got good answers.

"There are going to be half the clubs in this division who can pass and retain the ball better than we do" that is a very disappointing statement from a manager who is supposed to be improving the team Also I am not happy about the way he takes the credit for raising money from the sale of players who were already here when he arrived

Also I am not happy about the way he takes the credit for raising money from the sale of players who were already here when he arrived He can take total credit for Dave's money as far as I'm concerned - Dave was worth exactly £0 when GP got here. He also is totally responsible for the sales of GP and the Assman, and there's no doubt that we got more for Joe than we would have done. If we want to do basic sums, how much do you think he has added onto gates since getting here?

GP made Joe Hart a league footballer not a youth team player.

He doesnt half get offended to a question he doesnt like does he You mean the question that begins, "Everybody says the team has progessed in the last 3 years but sorry I disagree......................" I really don't blame him! He tells it how it is, "....If I was ever to walk away from Football it would be because of people like you..." He obviously hates that sort of blanket negativity. GP is absolutely passionate about Football, and, although he has always said that booing and getting on players backs only pleases the opposition, he is honest enough to revise that opinion when he thinks booing was justified. Also, he patiently answered the question about midfield. If it comes to intelligent and reasonable questions, he seems to take the trouble to answer with reasonable and intelligent answers. Of course he doesn't ALWAYS get it right. Who does anyway?

No he didnt..thats like saying David Moyes made Wayne Rooney a league footballer. Joe Hart has played 68 league games in his life up until now. 52 of them were with Peters as manager. When he left Shrewsbury he had played 54 games, 52 of them with Peters as manager. Peters dropped Howie to play Hart in what many considered to be a very bold move which paid dividends both in terms of us having a good keeper for a season and Joe's value going through the roof, England Under 21 call ups etc and the rest as they say, is history. David Moyes is responsible for bringing Wayne Rooney through as a league footballer. Many decent players don't make the same transition. Look at how players like David Platt & Robbie Savage had to go in their career to get a break, having come through a premiership youth team.

Certainly an interesting Q&A. But there's also some old b*llocks in there as well. Were we really the best team against peterboro for an hour? (10mins possibly) the better team against rochdale? & he's still insisting that Danny Hall's best position is central midfield.

He doesnt half get offended to a question he doesnt like does he Glad somebody else has noticed that - Dare to voice a differing opinion and immediately on the defensive, dare to criticise and immediately on the offensive. Even Dunny has toned down his post match questions, how many times has GP tried to shoot him down and humiliate him at 5.30 on a Saturday afternoon. Ask Gary - Credit to the man for allowing himself to face the music and answer the questions, always a good read!

He said that he thinks the old way we played was better at the gay Meadow. Thats because we were use to it and new how to play on it and the other team couldn't pass on it because the pitch was awful so they hoofed it and got nowhere. But now we hoof it and they just play it on the floor. I'm seriously concerned if a better squad than last year challenging for promotion can't do the basics as a professional footballer and play a pass and run game.

we were at our best last season when we played high tempo, direct (not aimless hoofing) but also gave the oppostion no space (we managed to real get on top of teams palying this way). this season not only are we playing hoof ball but we also seemed to have stopped doing the basics.

Most memorably going mental at Stuart Dunn when asked if he ' encouragement' from Town's performance after a post-Christmas defeat at Cheltenham. 'No I don't, getting three points encourages me' stormed GP. He's obviously mellowing with age, recently declaring himself 'excited' at being beaten 3-1 at Chester.

I HATE Gary Peters......I don't hate many people but I hate him so much I can't read what he says and can't look at him.
What an odious, arrogant, ignorant, abusive, egotistical c***. He dresses up rudeness and a blatent disregard for peole as "straight talking" and is still idolised. Some of you people are mental.
Reaching the playoffs was only progress because the mess the club was in before. He is profiting from the previous 3-4 managers under achievement. The playoffs are the absolulete minimum and have been for the last 15 years. We're a lower League 1 club in size at the very least.
This league is worse than ever......Dagenham, Morecambe, Chester, Hereford, Barnet, Accrington......the list of non-league clubs with pitiful attendances goes on and on and on.
It always grated with me that the same people who were declaring Ratcliffe 'God' after the Everton game and had a go at us for saying he was taking us backwards, were outside shouting for his head after Carlisle. The same people who will love Peters until the Cockney hoof merchant sends us down the bottom of the table.
Get rid before it's to late.

He's a good talker, his team now needs to start doing the talking.
He can't put a better 11 out than this time last season but like has been said above the basic pressuring and pressing the ball doesn't seem to be happening with the same sort of snap and gusto. I want to see that change this afternoon.

I've just read Peters rant against the fan who said we were as poor three years ago as we are now. I think Mr Peters shot himself in the foot with his reply by saying that the facilities are better now, training etc because despite that we're still in the same division and probabaly only six or seven places above where we were then and we weren't bottom as he suggested. Despite having all those advantages to of only improved that much is pretty dismal.
......and I think Histon would still beat us.
