TBH, you better enjoy your lead at the top because having seen Manure's line up tonight I think you might be overtaken when the next update comes out.

Martin, unless I'm misunderstanding the rules then it's not going to make too much of a difference is it? His players (bar O'Shea) aren't playing so it won't cost him too badly? Same for me, only got O'Shea in action tonight with Rio and Tim Howard rested...

You haven't misunderstood but his problem is he won't score any points from the 6 players who aren''t playing. I suspect this lack of points will mean he will be caught but you will have to wait for next weeks up date to find out. Cruel aren't I  |

TBH, you better enjoy your lead at the top because having seen Manure's line up tonight I think you might be overtaken when the next update comes out. he he he, nice one martin I am beginning to feel like a true celebrity now, with you coming on here wishing me badly before a ball has been kicked in a game i didn't know was happening! my team has done ok for a couple of months, but to be honest, we are still "gelling", give me a few weeks and i'll them together as a unit! seriously tho, i hardly put a lot of thought into it did i? I just bought as many utd players as i could and filled in the gaps either they romp to the treble and i win it, or i'm happy with winning a tenner for five minutes work! |

TBH, I should have put a smiley face thingy on my first post sorry.
I think your plan of not putting any thought into your team is as good as any other team selection method. I find it quite interesting how teams change places. If you look at a team that was top after the first table they are now 67th. It shows how things can change.

I am just bein awkward!! ;D It's to do with a slight difference between the website site and my excel spreadsheet that works out the positions. The website works by numbering the teams 1 to 76. In my spreadsheet teams on the same number of points are given the same position. This week a drew level with Stevenage Shrew on points so I went up from 76th to 75th, hence the rsie of 1 place. On B&A I appear to stay in 76th. Clear as mud probably, but I hope that explains it. |
