Admittedly Chester have a shocking run in, but the fact is they are miles ahead of us. At a glance, I reckon they'll finish on 86, us on 81. And even that was a bit optimistic. I'd love to be wrong, mind. Another four goals on Tuesday would give the next two visiting teams something to think about. Win all of these emphatically, and you never know.

51 points + 9 = 60 points.
they're only on 66, we have to play them at home, it aint all that impossible, it's just imperative we win the games in hand.
all "if's" and "but's" at the moment though"

"Oh yes we will."......... and before you say "oh no we wont",Prof............... "Oh yes we will" On a serious point though............. CRAMB MUST PLAY............ sublime footballers touch to set up the 4th yesterday, others would have held it looked about and then given it away............. best creative footballer in our side by a distance...not even open to debate in my book.............

Couldn't agree more about Cramb, completely wasted on the bench That pass to Lowe was one of the highlights of the game for me, sheer quality He'll probably have to wait until Rodgers suspension starts to get his chance though Summat not right between him and Quinn I reckon

We havent had much front page coverage on the NLP so it was good to read. I havent lost hope of catching Chester but realistically it's about cementing our place in the play-offs, going into them on the back of some good form and knowing our best team.

Im with Kickin on this one. I think yesterdays result will see us go on a run, boost the teams confidence and in my humble, thats been a big factor. No Confidence. Chester have a tough run in and I think there luck will soon run out.

I think we have a decent chance of catching Chester but it's going to be very, very close...just hope they drop the odd point or two here and there and win continue to win our games...
But it is all ifs and buts at the moment...going to be very interesting and exciting, mind...
What does make me laugh though is people saying Chester are lucky because they happen to score late goals...to suggest this whilst not seeing the game itself just makes me chuckle...

Chester have a tough run in and I think there luck will soon run out. Have you seen our run in? Last 9 games Barnet (A) Gravesend (H) Aldershot (H) Hereford (A) Exeter (H) Farnborough (A) Chester (H) Stevenage (H) Morecambe (A) Plenty of tough games there

the only people who can decide STFC's destiny is STFC, but chester going on a losing streak would be a nice little help, 14 games left = 42 points we need at least 36 which is a tall order

I think that we are lucky to still be in with a shout at the moment. Its not always our results that are doing us the favours but those around us, ok, we've only lost once at home this season, but we've had some results away that look dreadful on paper, Tamworth, D&R, Leigh RMI to name but a few.
We have a good run of home games coming up, and we need to notch some points up. I'll reserve judgement on whether we can win it or not for another month or so.

We will catch Chester. I think we will win the league by 5 points. We don't have the easiest of run ins, but that doesn't matter, as long as we play well. We will win the league! I am sure of it.
