I think jake is getting better by the game. He's a decent left back n todays goal has been coming for weeks.
A decent left back who is useful at set pieces - reminds me of a certain irish left back who made the position his own a decade ago. still a way to go tho b4 jake can be compared to Mr Lynch tho!
Good performance by all today - eventually. Shame about Mr Canadine tho. He's reffed us a fair few times this season and he seems to get worse!

A good straight up and down professional.

Im sorry, at times he was poor in the first half second and especially after his well taken free kick he brought himself around. He isnt a left back and shouldnt be there, I still say him at right back and Mossey at right wing.

Had a very good game second half but was average first half - not a long term solution to anything in the squad but is vital in terms of a squad game - he will get a good run now though and he needs to achive the consistancy of A Moss or Tinno

I liked his interview on Radio Shropshire. He basically said it was fair enough that the team were booed off at half time.
The Quinn Reaper didn't think there was much wrong with the first half performance.

I was booing the ref, not the team.

I think the back four as we have it are the best for a long time, Sedge is settling in well there. The whole team played badly first half

NewiShrew, Tommy Lynch was one of those Town players that became a hero because of his commitment and work rate- his distribution was on a par with Riochs! Sedgemore has proved his versatility and is playing well but is not a long term full back. Its tempting to try Moss further forward but he and the defence are playing very well so why change?

Thats Ok then - Tommy Lynch tought me everything I know as a footballer as he time out to come and train Baschurch juniors once a week when i played for them a a kid - so in my eye a town legend and a really nice guy - Actually that might explain a lot of why i play like i play

You've got to give Jake some credit. Ok, he would probably prefer playing on the right side of the park but since he's filled in at left-back, i don't think he's done anything too wrong defensively. It's certainly would be difficult to leave someone out who can score from a free-kick at that distance.
