They deserve nothing of the sort We are the main challengers for the title and we deserve it more due to our never say die attitude

We win the games in hand - and we'd be in second. That game vs Chester is going to be very interesting. Amazing what a 4-1 win does for confidence/optimism - especially if we don't dwell on the first half

Your never say die attitude!ha!you've won one game!how many games have we won in the last few minutes! keep dreaming boys! No one will challenge us now, although I do expect you lot to finish second! your games in hand may be at home but they're hardly easy ones! and you seem to think playing us is a guaranteed three points!

OK 3 points against you may not be guarranteed, but winning all games in hand and turning you over will put us on equal points with you. This makes our 4 goals today very important! Me - optimistic? - Never!

In a one off game I fancy us against chester because the team raise their game against higher teams. But we have been too poor too often to put pressure on chester's league position. Someone else will have to do that.
Danny Williams is, I understand from a Kidderminster season ticket holder, an excellent signing at this stage in the season.

we will still be three behind, but theres plenty of games left yet for them to slip up, with woking away next week the first likely loss for Chester.
We really need to get behind the lads in the next few weeks with these home games and make sure we get the results, as soon as we get into second Chester will bottle it big time.
Chester are showing signs of wilting with another last gasp winner at home.

You've said it for me!how can you show signs of wilting when you win three points near enough every week!what was your recent result against daggers!?I'm over the moon with 3 points against them, expecially the form they were in!
Danny Williams played OK today, but in my op is nowt better than we already have!

Stutty - Get a grip man, they are not killing teams off mid game but are winning with last gast goals, how much longer can they keep doing this?
They have some very tough games coming up and will struggle - Next week they will lose away at Woking.
We need to back our lads over the next few weeks as it will decide if we challange for the title or not.
Im glad i make you laugh Stutty, but a few had egg on their face with my attendance predictions at the start of the season, mark my words Stutty - We will win this league, no doubts about it.
Believe !

One win and you reckon the league titles yours!ha!how many points behind us are you!?we have the points in the back on the board, your just hypothetically predicting you'll win all your games in hand, beat us, we'll lose etc, etc!
I'm all for a bit of optimism but your just making me laugh! Does it matter how or when you win games aslong as you do?we've been winning games like this all season...wereas you lot haven't!! Again your result against Daggers? Fair enough if it had been Northwich!

Im with Kickin on this chester must be playing much worse than when they were killing teams with a barrage of goals early this season
But talk of winning the title must wait till we win the home games - its still to early!

Last minute winners are the mark of a good team
Those who can remember the 94 championship winning side will remember several late winners, and goals our of the blue to gain the points when not playing well.
I think that Chester will win it, but I don't expect uor lot to hand it on a plate for them. There are plenty of points to be played for and there is still time for them to slip up - I just don't think they will.

Wilting Chesters last 5 games...
Chester 2 - 2 Gravesend.......Chester were 2 -0 up Forest Green 2-1 Chester.......Enough said Northwich 0 - Chester 4......Expected Chester 3 - 2 Farnbourgh....88th minute winner Chester 2 - 1 Daggers......90th minute winner
Stutty, not exactly setting the world alight are they?
They have some very tough games coming up and will def lose at Woking next week.

Well as I see it they have won their last three our kid and they're sat at the top of the league...there is an old saying that goes football is a game of 90 minutes...so not too sure where your coming from when you talk about goals in the last few minues...whats that got to do with owt? Shows they are never say die and strong to the last...
For me, if we're going to catch them then it'll more down to us putting an excellent run together with win after win after win rather than Chester, what you call, wilting...
It's all going to mean jack anyhows if we don't win the games in hand...will be interesting to see how things will stand once we do get to play them...

Stutty, if your determined to ignore whats staring you in the face, that is Chester are struggling to kill teams off then thats your choice, however i still maintain they are wilting and will lose against woking next week.
If they lose on Saturday then we will be level on points if we win our games in hand and beat them at home, i really cant see Chester winning this league, and today may well kick start our season.
The lads will be buzzing today after that win and we now have another 4 home games on the run.
Maximum points will lift us right up there and still with games in hand.

Fair play to you our kid!! No offence meant, just that I see many if, if, if and more ifs I do agree with you though that we will win the league...I do think we have enough to catch Chester...but I just think it's gonna come very, very, very close!! If they loose to Woking I'll be the first to say you told me so!!

I said a few weeks back how they were chester were starting to scrape through games at the last, and i think we will run them to the end, again another game won today but not a convincing performance with a poor first half, what happens if we hit form ?

Next week is important for Chester - Woking will be a tough test and if they lose that then yes i might start to belve that they are about to bottle it - Hereford are staring to do that as well I see!!

Well get your money on a town win and a chester loss
Shrews 4 - Telford 2
Woking 3 - Chester 0
wonder what odds you would get for that?

kickinpretty as I was at the game today I can put a different point of view to yours. Chester were not lucky in fact they were unlucky. In the last 10 minutes we had a good goal disallowed, we hit their crossbar (albeit it was was one of their players who put it there) and Tony Roberts pulled off the best save I have seen for many years from Daryl Clare. You do post some tripe mate, oh and you can name your own odds on Woking beating Chester 3-0 I'll cover the bet. Are we on or not?
......and believe it or not mate we're not frightened of coming to Gay Meadow we're coming for the three points that will mean we did the double over you lot. Maybe then you might realise that this league is not the walkover so many of you predicted earlier in the season.
Hereford will join us in division three next season but you will be the team to beat next season.

Cestrian I will have £5 on Woking winning 3-0 at 1000/1 if that’s ok mate, are you on PAYPAL or what?
I will also have £5 on Chester losing at 1000/1 if that’s ok too?
Have you got a spare 10k lying around then?

I think you were a bit cheeky there kickinpretty trying to slip in that second bet. The bet was that Chester won't lose 3-0 at Woking and nothing else. That means if Chester score I win.
Keep your money in a safe place son. I'll collect when we come down in April.

They're not lucky mate, they are a team that's settled , know their job's and have a system that they stick to. If you look at all successful teams such as liverpool in the 80's or United inthe 90's they won plenty of games at the last, they just have faith and blieve in how they are playing. If you compare this to the Town , on our day we can murder anyone in this league , it's just that no one (including the players) know who our first eleven is. If we catch them then i will gladly eat my words but i just can't see it.
