I think is a great move by the club, i guess we were always going to lose luke at some point, but with this signing, it's really kept the fans on board as it looks like we are mostly comfortable with losing luke now... ...and it really will balance the books as well. well done to the club!

We've now got more than enough personnel in the forward department, just need the defence strengthening now....
Good luck to Jody for what I believe will be his first spell as a professional footballer (he was only a YTS at Man Utd)

It was essential before the season started that Luke didnt go (unless for a ridiculous amount of money)The fact that he stayed showed the board were committed to getting us back in the league as soon as possible and helped us renew our faith in the club after last seasons shambles. However it seems plain to me that while Luke always gives 100% and indeed has scored a reasonable number of goals this year that in his heart of hearts he feels its time to move on .That being the case I am now not unhappy for him to go assuming the feeis right around 300k would be my figure and providing the replacement is right Banim seems to have the right credentials whether he is an adequate replacement for Luke only time will tell but for now I trust JQ'S judgement .I too think the board and manager are handling this pretty well.
