Just a little worry, is that Jody is unproven at this level, if he didnt cut it and Luke was sold where would we stand then?.

I believe we signed Lowe from the same league and he was proven either.
I think you have to take a chance on these kind of players, he's clearly too good for the league he's playing in.
However there is a bit of a risk but we've seen the two big men up front can do a job and score goals

However there is a bit of a risk but we've seen the two big men up front can do a job and score goals good post Loyalshrew It is no less risk than Crewe would be taking by buying Rodgers, but then we know he is good enough and it would be good for them ebcause we have seen him play and have faith in his ability Bottom line is if he is as good as he sounds, and scoring in 13 consecutive games and 48 goals in 52 games or whatever it is sounds pretty awesome to me, at any level, and of course he was a Man Utd youngster who didn't quite make it. It has all the hallmarks of a roy of the rovers story, i reckon it is worth the risk, and as you say Darby, Cramb and Lowe all have goals in them anyway, especially Cramb who has been shockingly criticised despite scoring a lot and making a lot, as well as holding up play well. There is no player more maligned or unjustly criticised at the moment than Cramb, because without him our season would be looking far far worse.
