How are things in the conference? i think we might be joining you next season!. Is there life after relegation?? Can you still swap ends at half time?
At least we will have a few more local derbys!
Good luck for the rest of the season.

No sarcasm from the last post I'm sure, Conference supporters are generally more friendly than the idiots you sometimes have to face at places like Hull, Hartlepool, Carlisle etc although you still see some annoying little gimps down here! Only two of our away games so far have been non-segregated, at Leigh and Margate (who play at Dover), there appears to be life after relegation, while some supporters are expecting us to play like Real Madrid in every game, I'm just enjoying the fact that we are challenging for promotion, still in a cup competition and are winning games fairly regularly at home and away quite often, albeit not spectacularly.

Cheers, at least we might be considered one of the "bigger" sides in the conference?. - I'm clutching at staws here, if we go down i don't think we'll be going back up in a hurry.
Where's the final of the trophy going to be played?? we had 3 great trips to wembley thanks to the trophy.

yes he's still with us- just. to say he hasn't quite matched the dizzy heights of last season would be an understatement- 2 goals on the opening day, nothing since!.
if darlington go down they will have the best statium the conference has ever seen- it's pretty impressive.

Whichever two teams come down from division three will make the Conference that much stronger and that much harder to get out of than it is this season and harder the next season and so on ...
Let's get out at the first time of asking please!!

i would have to agree with you there (the standard of teams going down). the standard of the third has risen this season and even the sides near the drop zone that i've seen are still pretty strong. I'd have thought that rogers would have run rings around the rest of the conference, you've done well to hang on to him. a lot of our fans were hoping he'd move to us when you went down - but i could never see that happening.

Rodgers has had a mare this season, he's a shadow of the player he was in division 3 in the last two seasons
Probably due to a lot of OTT hype last summer about how he'd take the Conference by storm combined with the unsettling effects of constant transfer speculation in the early part of the season, mainly connected with Crewe Alex
