Does anybody on here know how much it is to play snooker at the snooker centre in harlescot? Do you have to be a member?

Haven't been for a few years but you didn't have to be a member. Can't remember the price but it was more for non-members

You don't have to be a member, and I think it's something like £6 to play + £1.25 to be a member for the day. I think that covers you from when it opens (11 ish) until 7. Then you have to pay again if you want to carry on.

Do you not have to pay for the table lights by the hour?

It's £5 to join for a year or £1.50 to sign in for the day as a non-member.
Then whether you're a member or not, it's about £3.30 an hour on the tables. Obviously that's split between you and your opponent, not each!!!
I'm a member but haven't been for ages. Must put that right...

Think there is an alternative price for if you're going to be there all day. £6 would be a bit steep if you only wanted a couple of frames!!!

maybe so, but I didn't mention how long I was staying and got charged the £6. It didn't matter though as I was there all day. £6 for £6 was a bargain, even though I spent all day breathing in cigarette smoke filled air.
