who is beginning to regret that we didnt sell Luke when Crewe came for him in the summer. I thought he would score 30 plus goals this season and although I understand that hes been injured part of the time apart from a few brief momnts he just doesnt look the same player as he did last season Heres hoping he gets it together soon What do others think Am I being too harsh ?

Your not alone, Im thinking this. Wednesday showed what he does on the bigger stage, but we must keep with him whilst he is here

Spot on - Luke even admits himself that he is not even good enough for this level and at current form aint worth 50k
But we know he can do it and you have to belive that he will return to form one day!

He had a poor game today after two terrific ones at Halfax and against Hucknall.
His service was non-existant.

Is the start of the RODGERS posts ?
The London Shrews board meeting had him low on the current popularity stakes

His touch was missing something today however as per usual the service to him (especially from Moss - long high balls) was not good enough

As soon as someone can point me in the direction of some one-on-ones he's missed or lack of effort, then I'll get on his back.
Until then, I'll be grateful for his name to be on our squad list, and give him total support.

It will be a very sad day when Luke Rodgers leaves the club. Players with flair win games in a moment. Look at the players involved in the Town goal today: Aiston - Lowe - Cramb. Three very different players but all with something to offer when they have the ball at their feet.
Only one of them started mind you ....

A big target man (currently DD) is not the way to get the best out of Rogers. He needs defence splitting passes like Jemson was providing last season (when he could be bothered). Cramb is the only one capable of this (occassionally). He also happens to be our top goal scorer, so why the F*** is he on the bench all the time and DD on for 90 minutes?

but then more people on here hate Cramb than they do Darby, despite Cramb being our top scorer
